We spent 4 nights here and the room was clean and equipped with all the amenities; the location was excellent and the beds were comfortable. Being located directly in the old town made it very easy to get around on foot. The staff was highly attentive and helpful. If I must make a minor remark, perhaps the shower and bathroom finishes could use an update, but this is a mere detail that did not impact our pleasant stay

Excellent location in the ancient city. Very welcoming manager and staff. For English-speaking tourists also. Well-furnished and clean room. We only stayed one night but would definitely come back on the next time.

We had a wonderful stay at this inn in Dali. The traditional Chinese-style courtyard is beautifully designed, peaceful, and full of charm, making it a perfect place to relax. One of the highlights was the rooftop balcony, which offers stunning mountain views—it's the perfect spot to enjoy the sunrise, sunset, or simply take in the beautiful scenery. The rooms were comfortable, made us feel completely at home. The host was very kind and helpful. She helped us arrange transportation from Dali to Lijiang, which made our trip much smoother and stress-free.

The taxi can't drop off in front of the front door cause it's situated slightly on the inner roads. At night you're next to a night market and can hear loud noises till midnight. If you close the window you can still hear a little. There's no common toilet downstairs after checking out They charge you for doing laundry and using their dryer
