Vinpearl Resort & Spa Ha Long

Very nice view to the mountain range in sea.

The staff was always kind, however communication was difficult as most of them hardly spoke any English (and of course I don‘t speak any Vietnamese - sorry for that). And so the checkout procedure with all in all almost 45 min was by far to long. Food was ok but we expected a higher level of quality with this price level.

Wr had a wonderful time.on the island and.enjpyedany of.thr services provided by the resort including buffet breakfast, seafood buffet and para sailing.

The boat transfer on and off the island could be difficult to time.

The Resort was amazing. 6 star accommodation. Highly recommend staying here. But check if there will be an Indian wedding happening. As it can be a bit noisy.

Only that there was a very elaborate Indian wedding booked there at the same time. It was a bit noisy. And construction happening for the marquees.

The hotel is huge, located on a private island. Large private territory. The attraction is to enter and leave with a boat, which transports residents for free. Big swimming pool.

The hotel is quite old, needs renovation, especially in the rooms. The bathroom smells bad. We stayed when there was a big wedding at the hotel, we were not informed about it in advance. It seemed that the staff only cared about the wedding guests, not the hotel guests. A large part of the territory was specifically allocated for the wedding. The breakfast selection is extensive, but the food is only average, in fact the worst I have ever eaten in Vietnam. Breakfast was served in the Italian restaurant, since the main restaurant was only for wedding guests. The food in the restaurants is also average, and the prices are quite high, compared to prices in Vietnam. The seafood restaurant is delicious, but the prices are extremely high. It is better to move to the mainland and go to a nearby seafood restaurant, it will be much cheaper and tastier. There were several beaches, but you can only use one. The location is poor, a bit far from the main streets of Ha Long. Therefore, there was not much to walk around. After booking the hotel, we received a discount on food at restaurants, but we had to ask for it, and not even once, which was not very pleasant.
