This is such a beautiful property! The name 'Riviera' is totally appropriate as we felt like we were in St. Tropez!! Located right on the lakeside, adjacent to marinas and Spiez Castle and an old church, the hotel is a classic waterside property with its own Italian Restaurant and extensive decking area for eating/drinking & soaking up the sun. Although our room didn't have a waterside view, it was functionally OK and very quiet. And - importantly - it had a kettle!
The warm welcome from the hotel manager was especially appreciated in these days of faceless electronic check-ins, passwords and remote access.
Can't think of anything we didn't like!

Great rooms in a lovely and convenient location. Beds were comfortable, shower was good. Balcony was a bonus (though not very private). Breakfast was good too. Enjoyed a swim from right in front of the hotel entrance.
Staff were not easy to find: reception desk was never staffed while we were there. Had to wait several minutes before we could check in.
