Wonderful view, friendly owner, great location in the city, surrounded by historical site, and close to restaurants and shops. The rooms are large and both equipped with modern facilities, including AC.

Magical location and place to stay! The fact that we could stay in such a historic location was so special! I called it our "hobbit house" due to the cute small entry. Well-equipped and comfortable. We stayed in late March and the wildflowers were amazing, especially up in the upper village, which is worth the many steps up all the way to the church at the top. The owners were very nice and friendly. Fotini is featured in Rick Steves book for her products in her store! We bought several items.

Yes, the bathroom is small but nicely done. The only thing I would add is another mirror somewhere in the unit besides the only one in the bathroom so that others could get ready while someone else is in the bathroom.

Location, historic setting, views, comfort, welcome by hosts

In general we were satisfied with the place but not for the price we paid. The house is located in a good location and very accessible and the view to the sea from the bedroom is wonderful. The house itself is a renovated traditional house which is very beautiful and worth staying in. The kitchen is very useful and our hosts were kind enough to leave us small welcome gifts which was a nice gesture.

The bed and the pillows were not very comfortable and water pressure in the shower was an nightmare. Since the hosts rent out individual houses there is no indication neither signs anywhere to be able to locate the house, which is absolutely fine if the hosts would have either 1.) Written something in the chat 2.) Put a sentence in the description on the booking website that it is recommended to call the hosts shortly before arrival 3.) Indicate the name of the shop the hosts own where you can walk in and pick up the keys. The hosts were friendly, but overly "don't worry relax" (to the point it got rude) with not much regard for personal boundaries (ie. calling somebody you just met sweetheart). While I realize this is also a bit the culture, if I wanted to have the student, backpacking, couch surfer interaction with hosts I would have booked something at a different. In short: really good, decent house and I realize we booked over the Easter period where the prices are abnormally high. However charging 164 EUR per night for the facilities, especially lack of professionalism is not good value for money.
