About this house rental
A unique property, perfectly located in the heart of the old castle of Monemvasia. Overlooking the central square "Kanoni" and the Aegean sea. Totally renovated in 2017, this charming two-storey old mansion preserves the traditional architecture of the castle and retains all the original internal stonework, while at the same time provides all modern amenities. It is a rare find due to its location, its sea-view terrace and combination of old world with contemporary facilities.

The house is stunning!! It is located right in the centre of Monemvasia. It was clean, had everything we needed and it is big enough for 2 families. The view from the terrace is amazing. It was overall impressive and we had a great time. Thank you for an amazing stay! We would love to return.

My family and I stayed 3 amazing nights in this beautiful apartment. The views were incredible. It was completely quiet. The apartment could have easily slept 8-9 people, so there was plenty of room. The full kitchen was a bonus, as we were able to cook meals instead of always having to go out. There’s easy access to the trail to the Upper Town, and it’s not that far from the entrance to the castle.
I had some trouble checking in because my cell phone wasn’t working. Also, some basic Greek would be useful, as the woman who checked us in knew less English than I knew of Greek. But she was very sweet, and we made it all work.
Out of 6 places we stayed at on our trip to Greece, this was by far our favorite. Can’t wait to come back!!

PLEASE do yourself a favor if you are on the Peloponnese of Greece, and stay in Monemvasia at this magnificent castle home. Unbelievable views, beautifully decorated, and a very easy check in and check out. Katerina’s aunt Janna was a wonderful hostess who was so helpful to us during our stay. She recommended restaurants, and other fun things to do. Bravo Katerina & Janna
