Good location and very quite

The location is very good, in a very quiet area and right in the center of Montefalco. The room was nice and cool, clean and everything you need.

The only negative note was the bathroom smell. At first it had a good smell of clean and even though doesn't have a window the size is right and all was fine. But in the morning we had a sue smell coming from the bathroom....we talked to the owner who was very sorry and concerned but he couldn't give us a different room. 😒 Eventually the smell went away. Over all our stay was pleasant, the bed was comfortable and the AC was working fine.

Definitely a place to visit!

You are in the very centre of the hilltop town with a character. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly and resourceful. The town is fantastic. Frescoes all around: Benozzo Gozzoli and Perugino to name a few. A balustrade 50 meters from your door with a 180 degree view to die for. Assisi seen right from your window... And Spello. And Trevi. And Foligno... Hey, and if you are after fine dining, Montefalco is definitely the place to visit. We come from a pretty foody city, but three out of three restaurants we visited were amazing.

The furniture in the room is a bit old, but it adds to the character. The breakfast is... well, it can be improved. But overall, we spent fantastic three days in Montefalco, and the hotel was one reason for our pleasure.

The breakfast was adequate and the Manager Roberto was friendly. He only spoke a little English, which is to be expected in a small Italian town. We liked this, as it gave us a chance to try out our Italian. The views of the from the room and balcony are outstanding! The bathroom and shower in room 3 are wonderfully spacious. We thought that that La Rocca offered a very good value for the money. Roberto was happy to make us reservations at the excellent restaurants. In mid April, the town of Montefalco seemed really quiet, especially at night.

The photos made the room look a little more upscale than it really turned out to be, and the shower smelled a bit. Compared to most other beds upon which we have slept on in Italy, the bed was hard and therefore somewhat uncomfortable to us. Unfortunately, we learned that the only control for the radiator heater is in the adjoining room. This was an issue when the heater came on in the evening and we had no way to shut it off. The solution offered was to run the air conditioner. After seeing the beautiful photos of the spa while booking, it was a slightly disappointing that the spa was pretty much closed down. Fortunately the spa was not a big part of our plans, as there is a lot to explore in this part of Umbria.

Bella struttura in posizione strategica

Struttura situata in posizione strategica, a due passi sia dalla porta di ingresso delle mura (con parcheggio comodissimo di fronte) che dalla piazza principale del centro storico. Staff gentilissimo e disponibile, stanza accogliente e pulita.

L'offerta a colazione potrebbe essere un po' più variegata.

Bellissimo!

Tutto! Dalla location alla posizione comodissima e vicinissima al centro di Montefalco. La spa fantastica!!! Comodissimo anche il posto auto che si trova appena fuori dall’entrate del borgo e vicinissimo alla struttura. Il sig.Roberto gentilissimo e cordiale con tanti consigli di cosa visitare e di dove andare a bere e mangiare. Torneremo sicuramente!

Avevo organizzato questo breve soggiorno per l'anniversario con il mio compagno cercando una struttura con SPA.Sono rimasta molto delusa perchè al nostro arrivo ci è stato detto che la SPA era chiusa. Io avevo letto nelle recensioni inizio agosto che altri ospiti l'avevano trovata chiusa. Pensavo fosse un guasto momentaneo. Invece dopo oltre un mese la SPA non è funzionale. Bisogna scrivere che per lavori è momentaneamente chiusa. Consiglio di chiamare in struttura e chiedere.

Un perfetto weekend a Montefalco

Abbiamo soggiornato per 3 notti. Struttura all’interno delle mura, posizione perfetta, vicinissimo al punto panoramico. La stanza era di dimensioni comode, abbiamo preso quella col balcone e la vista era bellissima. Bagno ottimo, doccia confortevole. Silenzioso sia di notte che di giorno, ci si sveglia col profumo dei cornetti preparati dall’host. Colazione molto buona. Parcheggio gratuito a pochi minuti, altrimenti parcheggio a pagamento a 100 metri. Tutto perfetto!

Assolutamente nulla di negativo, aggiungerei solo un mini-frigo all’interno delle camere per tenere l’acqua in fresco.

Posizione ottimale, al centro di Montefalco, per girare a piedi il paesino e spostarsi in macchina per girovagare tra cantine sulle colline umbre.

SPA esclusiva per un'ora per 4 persone: esperienza sommato positiva (dalle foto sembrava più piccola) anche se per i servizi offerti, 40 euro a testa, per un'ora sono eccessivi. Colazione decisamente da migliorare, poca scelta e prodotti confezionati.
