Apartament in Principe Real

The location is great and the communication with the host was confusing given the person listed told me he no loner worked for the company or owner, so check in took a little longer. However, the host was quick to respond and gave me an hour extension for check out, so very accommodating host!

I am allergic to cat dander and there is or was a cat in this apartment that has left an odor. It may be on the couch but I had to keep opening the windows to let some fresh air in. I think a deep cleaning might be in order or change the couch.

The location was perfect. I could get to all my meetings in the city without a hitch. Great value for the location. The bed was very comfortable. The internet was steady and fast. The team managing the space were very attentive and easy to reach. Any issues that arose, they were a phone call away. I appreciated that. They also were very accommodating when it came to my check-out which I greatly appreciated. The studio was well equipped with all you would need for a 4-week stay. There was a heater and dehumidifier which was helpful as it rained a lot during my stay. The washing machine and drying rack I found helpful, as well. And the welcome snacks were a nice touch. The studio is also equipped with a broom, a dust pan, a mop and bucket. There was plenty of storage space as well. I like that the studio has shutters which kept the light out and I could sleep comfortably. I would stay here again due to the central location of the studio and the attentiveness of the team managing the space.

The bathroom floor could have been cleaned more diligently. The grey plastic tray in the bathroom shower was not anchored to the shower floor, so when wet was very slippery and moved a lot which I found unsafe when showering, so I suggest placing it aside when using the shower. The kitchen did not have a vent (there are windows in the studio that open onto the street, but there are metal bars which is great for safety) so when preparing a meal on the stove top it became stuffy in the studio. There was a lot of moisture in the apartment, however, a dehumidifier and heater was included in the studio which was very helpful.

check in. I was unable to get hold of the host initially via phone or booking.com messaging despite emailing the day before i left. i had said i would be checking in at 3pm on the initial booking. No one was there. I was finally contacted 30 mins later having called several times and messaged and contacted booking.com. I finally got into the property 90 mins later. Toilet seat was loose and system top did not fit, the property just needed a bit of TLC
