This is literally a castle on a hill surrounded by glorious Umbrian hills. The photos don’t do it justice. Amazing experience! Climbed up the tower to be king of the castle :)

I am glad that I experienced this Castello. You can rent electric bikes to ride into the town of Valfabbrica, which is just over 4 miles. Keep in mind that there is no longer a restaurant at the hotel so plan accordingly. For an extra charge breakfast is included. The breakfast was super!
It was very cold at night but they don’t turn the heat on until November. I was provided a space heater which was great for the bathroom when getting ready in the morning but not safe or effective to have on while sleeping.

Castello Di Giomici was perfect for our trip through Italy. Its history was fascinating and it was perfectly located for us to explore Gubbio and Assisi. We loved it!

Location is good, 30 minutes from Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi. Nice view from bathroom. Good staff. Good heating. Wide and comfortable beds.
We had a 2 bedrooms apartment, it is located ca. 700m from the castle, i.e it's no castle at all. When we arrived there was garbage from previous guests and an old and dirty fridge. Fridge was however replaced by a newer one.
No TV, almost no wi-fi. Some kitchenware not clean.
Bathroom is for handicapped persons, means it is not comfortable for everyone.
