Excellent Location and amazing views

Location cannot be faulted, everything at your doorstep. Marina literally a few minutes walk down the road. Close to all shops and amenities. The apartment was clean and spacious. The best thing was the sea view from the balcony.

Lifts quite small and could do with some updating.

Great location poor beds

Location is very good. Good size place. Trendy. Good quality towels provided. Plenty of closet space.

Unfortunately the tv in front bedroom didn’t work. Tv in living room you couldn’t understand how to get it to work. The only reason we required tv was because weather was poor so we wanted to stay in and relax and enjoy some entertainment. I would have been happy to be able to sign in on my own Netflix prime and Disney plus but couldn’t. The beds are awful bedding nice but it felt like I was sleeping on a hard surface. I actually got a back ache. So did my husband.

Frustrating start, great apartment when we finally found it

Fantastic apartment, lovely people

I booked the Puerto Marina (which sound very like the Puerto Mac Marina, but isn't!) The Puerto Marina was locked up - phoned the number and was told its closed until March. Searched everywhere for the hotel, almost gave up and went home then I spotted a name in the address line, somewhere in the booking Torremar. There's a building called Torremar - after a very stressful hour, I found that. And thats where we were staying. Absolutely nothing in the booking about the fact it has a totally different name and you wont find it without knowing that. I speak v good Spanish, luckily and was able to find it by asking people!

Excellent location and outstanding service! I Will definitely come again.

Found the whole experience easy, efficient and no hassle. Check in even on New Year’s Eve was a dream, Alexia was friendly and helpful and met us on arrival and showed us to the studio Apartment. It was clean and cosy perfect for me and my 8 year old daughter to enjoy our 2 night stay.

Enjoyable stay would recommend

Very convenient location. Nice lady and young man on reception were helpful. Modern well appointed studio which I think has been recently refurbished to a high standard with everything you need for a comfortable stay including hairdryer, iron, ironing board and cleaning mop and bucket. The room was spotless. There is dish soap and shampoo provided. No daily cleaning provided which I prefer as you don’t have interruptions or noise from cleaners like other hotels. Plenty of towels provided. Check in was supposed to be 4pm but we arrived around 10am and they allowed us to store our bags and check in early at 2pm when room was ready which was really helpful otherwise we would have been carrying luggage around. Value for money!

Not complaints but just to make people aware no bar or restaurant at the property but there are bars, restaurants and supermarkets within easy reach. Noise from the road, hammering from construction from around 8.30 am and very noisy lift as we were in a room next to the lift. (The room next to the lift suited us as my husband has walking difficulties). Didn’t really bother us too much as we were out a lot and once the balcony door was closed it blocked the road noise and the lift didn’t seem to be used much at night so didn’t interfere with sleep as much as the morning time. Had to ask for toilet roll which they provided as didn’t know they just provide you with 2 initially and then I think they expect you to provide your own.

Torremar Benalmadena

The location and balcony view were really good. Close by to all you need including the Marina. Kitchen facilities were very clean and new. The pool was quite big and deep for a good opportunity to enjoy a swim.

There was no TV all week due to a fault with the cable into the block. Not a deal breaker but was a missing facility. The wifi available performed well below what was expected. Very weak signal from the corridor. The fob controlled main entry door stopped working after 2 days meaning there was no access security at all. The staff do their best with the place but it is showing its age. Sadly we had cockroaches found in the room during the week. Not infested but umpleasant to have to deal with. This was reported to the office on site who supplied us with a can of spray. Not really suitable for 6 people as the sofa bed was uncomfortable. Would better suit 4 people.

Lovely apartment

Apartment was lovely and clean it was very central to everything the view was amazing it was very quiet in the evening. Host was quick to answer any messages, no sunbeds at the pool but reception will borrow sunbeds on request!

The bed was very comfortable but extremely squeaky which was quite annoying. The wardrobe was very strange you had to pull down a rail to reach and you couldn't hang any dresses up because there was no room for them to hang 😔

Gorgeous apartments in a perfect location!

These apartments are gorgeous. We had a sea view.. was perfect. Location spot on. Near marina and beach. We would definetley stay here again. The hosts Octavia and Alexia were brilliant they kept in touch on route for check in and were really helpful on arrival. l

Perfect location & view if you get a sea view studio

We booked a studio with a sea view, the view was amazing looking out to the pool & marina, brilliant location, lovely pool which was quiet, we asked reception for sun loungers they give us us deck chairs which you can’t leave round the pool they have to be taken back to your room which we didn’t mind. The cafe/bar next to the pool was lovely which wasn’t mentioned on the property description so that was an added bonus, I would return for the location & view.

The studio was in need of an update, the shower tray had mould round the seal & I couldn’t use the towels looked really old. We were told to ring the number of the host 30mins before arrival I tried the number several times no answer eventually got through after the check in time & was told I just I needed to go to reception in the apartments which we didn’t know existed as they was no access into the property with out having a key fob luckily the door opened by someone coming out so we got into the apartment block, could of been explained abit better

Disappointed that there was no real information in the room about rules and regulations of the building, use of the pool, alternative options for nearby parking - we could not find a space after we has been out for the day, so ended up paying to park for 2 nights at a carpark

Very pleasant, enjoyable clean stay! Perfect location

Location was perfect for the Marina and the Beach, easily accessible by foot, we did hire a car at the airport and there was a car park at the property that was first come first served basis but managed to park every time. Apartment was clean and fresh towels and linen was supplied and the kitchen was equipped enough to get by. Air Con was super efficient and well needed. The bar/pool area was nice, well kept and nice areas to sunbathe. There are no sun loungers available but i think there is a room with chairs in that belong to all the apartments, don't think there are any for room 118 though so we just used towels to lie on. Food and drink at the pool bar is very nice and reasonable.

We did book a side sea view room but we were overlooking the road and could barely see the sea in the distance so that was slightly disappointing as the photos were a little misleading as to what the view would be (photo attached shows sea view) The shower didn't work properly and flooded the bathroom, entrance to the apartment and also the corridor outside resulting in having to mop every time we showered.

Location perfect with a 2 min walk to the beach/marina & all bars & restaurants.

The location was fantastic & the staff very pleasant & welcoming.The apartment was comfortable & had everything you need for your stay.

There was building work going on in the building which we were not informed about. It did start after 9 AM but if your on holiday a lay in is a given some mornings. There wasn’t any spare bedding & the room wasn’t changed for the duration of our stay so just one spare set would be perfect.

The location was perfect I was a bit worried arriving early Hours of the morning but a lovely lady met us and showed us to the apartment. (You pay extra to check in late); Some lovely touches as we were celebrating a big birthday

A nightmare.

Sadly this apartment is very tired. The beds were very poor and not as clean as expected. Found hair in the double bed and it wasn’t clean as we expected. No mosquitoe net on patio door and we were bitten badly. Things missing, a sharp knife, cutting board, scissors, only 2 cups and gasses, water heater inadequate switches on walls not staying on. Poor table, ironing board bent, bath won’t hold water and rust on it,in general grubby and in need of paint. My wife spent 5 days in bed poorly and suspect it was with bites, cupboard housing had lots of cockroaches and they were all over the apartment.
