Terrible experience

No phone answers to allow me to check in, they sent the email for the deposit the following day so the fore didn’t no give me pin for key, landed at 12pm and no answer from them, had to sleep in reception all night

Perfect host to rip someone off!

Our new apartment that we, after so much diffuculties, finally got. So the second apartment was perfect, except written below... A huge thank you to Bookings, who tried to reason with BenalBeach! Unfortunately they didn't get through to BenalBeach either :( I travel a lot! And have never experienced anything like this before! Truly bad communication and actings from BenalBeach! So untrustworthy! Never again.

I booked an apartment and paid for "a view over the pool". This is what my booking said. And remember, there was several choices to make regarding a view. When we arrived, the view was over a very dirty, green roof. No view and defenetly no pool! I called the personell and the woman said that we got what we asked for. I sent pictures via the app and still, she continued to answer that "you have the right apartment". Frustrated enough, I tried to get hold on someone in charge, although, nothing happened. No answer from BenalBeach. I got in touch with Bookings and they felt as we, that the apartment was not as booked. Finally BenalBeach reached out with another apartment, although I had to pay another 50€. I accepted, cos it was already late and 3h had passed without getting a proper rest. I paid the 50€ as BenalBeach wrote on Whatsapp, yet, they took 60€! Well, finally we could check in. The apartment wasn't cleaned at all, so I used my car vacuum cleaner due to my lungs (I've lung emphysema). The apartment in all was perfect, but the beds were hard as sh*t! So I had to sleep on the sofa for 3 nights. The sofa was actually quite good. We never gotten any refound or an apology from BenalBeach, not the 10€ either that they charged extra. The deposit took 6 days before I recieved it, so I had to contact Bookings again to get the deposit back! Bookings on the other hand, refounded the 50€ because they though BenalBeach did us wrong. Thank you Bookings for that. To be honest; this was a shitty experience from a superbad host! And the internet didn't work until our last day...

Perfect base to explore the area.

The mattresses were quite hard however we are used to a very soft mattress at home, sofa bed was much better

Location excellent. Lovely beach. Beside everything. Air conditioned. Great shower. Washer/dryer. Good pool. Gym on site.

Looking out onto a filthy roof so did not use balcony except to dry clothes. Apartments look much bigger in photos. No change of towels or sheets. No cleaning products for bathroom and kitchen. No instructions where to put garbage. Only one key available for 3 people. Had to phone number on bookings website a few times to ask for wifi code. Reception only really hold keys and don't have any information on anything.. Charge for sun loungers and gym.

The apartment isnt the same as advertised, i was deceived in many ways

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with this property. We booked three apartments, but not all of them were as shown on the pictures. ONe of them was way smaller than we expected,besides that it was on the same level with the huge roof, with many air conditioning systems on it, and balconies were overlooking dirty roof 🥲It was very noisy and polluted. Washing machine didn’t work and it took 2-3 days to get it done. Even though, the price of all the apartments was same, other apartments had some issues, such as washing machine problems and all the facilities are quite old to be honest.

I would avoid this place. Too many issues /headaches. Not relaxing. They lie to you.

No breakfast served

1. Terrace door did not lock ; defective. This is an absolute must on a ground floor apt. How the management missed this before QC check of the place, I will never understand. 2. Safe-Box was defective. Not working at all. Very disappointed after wasting 30 minutes trying to get it working. 3. Lost 3½ hours of my holidays in the morning. After 4 calls and 2 ½ hours of waiting, the door lock and safe-box repaired. 4. Shocked to find out that the (promised) Wellness Spa was closed. Hadn’t been open since 2021. I specifically called in advance of my reservation to make sure the Wellness Spa was actually open since I need this for relaxation and help for my back problems. But I was intentionally lied to ..that it was open. 5. All the pools were extremely dirty with bacteria. Very poor hygiene and sanitation of the pools. You could see the merky and cloudy waters. I was in shock. 6. Although I am not surprised, it was virtually impossible to get a sun shade unless you were the first to arrive at 9:45 in que to get in the pool area. Sun beds were €4.50 so that was not so bad as there were always available. But finding a decent location to lay was another problem due to mass overcrowding. 5. Very loud Car / Motorcycle noises from the street (30 meters away); POOR DOOR INSULATION !! 6. Extremely loud noises from the corridor / Hallway outside our main door. People shout and very disrespectful as they know all noises echo and go right into the apartments. 7. Had to wait 2½ hrs after promised checkin; we were not allowed to use the facilities while waiting. 8. Long complex hall ways and gates that locked/closed early after 10pm so no quick access to beach. 9. Absolutely no parking available. Always full 24hrs / day. 10. No dishwasher 11. No cleaning service (even after a week). Not ideal. You have to wash your sheets and linens, etc.. Positives 1.

great on-site facilities- inconsistent host service

great apartment for 2 adults and 2 kids. great location to beach and pool adjacent. slides and multiple pools on site. cafe, supermarket and shops all on site. staff friendly. room clean and had all the essentials.

we booked 2 apartments with alfresco stays. one had everything and the other, although stated same size in square metres was much smaller than the other. one didn’t have air con and after multiple attempts of trying to resolve with the host, eventually the room was changed to another. if travelling during the summer, air con is an essential and if it’s not working, please do something about it. after travelling all day, the last thing you want or need is to have to listen to a host talk you through how to use a remote ?! nothing wrong with the remote- it was the actual air con itself. having to argue your way to getting a room change wasn’t great service either. the star rating for this review is based on the room that was offered after the change, otherwise, I’d have given 0 stars. host not very helpful if there’s a problem! this is our 2nd time staying after having a great time last year but host customer service needs an upgrade.

I was away with my daughter we had to check out at 11am but our flight wasn't until 11.30pm. The reception is not associated with the apartment owner, they really didn't care or want to know or help us. They would not allow us to leave our bags anywhere for the day. We had to ask other residents (total random strangers) in the hotel to take our bags to their room for the day. The owner of the property had no communication with us at all. It is missing that personal touch be it form the owner or of their rental agency that they use. They should have met us on arrival and they need to come up with a plan/deal for storage for bags. It's a necessity. They do not have a contact to phone on a Saturday, again they need to provide this daily. We could not have carried 2 x 20kg bags around with us for the day/ Maybe there are storage lockers locally that bags could be left in if hotel can't provide this facility??

Disappointing

Position was good for us as I was looking something not far from beach.

In whole hotel there is no space where to leave your baggage before and after checking time. The personal is unwilling to help you. Communication with owner of rooms only by phone. Not always picking up phone, not helpful. They taking themselves, not only blocking, 100€ from you card on first day of you stay(breakage deposit). I left place 5 days ago, still don't have money back. Really horrible beds in this type of appartments!!!

Superb

I would recommend this property to my friends and family. Great communication from this property management. I was let down when i had paid already for another apartment in the complex(not this agency) and then i clicked on this property and booked. It was ready in 45 minutes for me to go into with my daughter.(8) We were so happy and relieved we had somewhere to stay and didnt have to book a flight home.(ireland) after just arriving. The property was spacious, bright airy and comfortable. Lovely balcony with table and chairs. Had everything you need for cooking. Even had liquid for washing dishes which is brilliant. Hot water always. And a bathtub if you want to relax.

There is nothing i didnt like, i would suggest simply instructions for the tv and also for washing machine. I didnt use but some people might if they stay for longer.
