The location n cleanliness of the room and spacious too.

The breakfast spread. Need to be improve. The front desk on the day check in. We reached early morning around 7 am coz we travel from Singapore to avoid jam along the way for holidays with my mother in law who is 81 years old. We have our breakfast first to kill time. Around 9 am after we finished our breakfast, we ask the front desk staff if we can check in early for only 1 of the room and we even told the staff we willing to pay extra, but the staff not willing to help and told us the room all full. Around 10 plus am, we saw a group of guest checking out. We approached the front desk again and he said he will check with his supervisor. But when we ask again he said his supervisor said cannot. We so disappointed with the reply. We only ask just 1 room so my mother in law can rest and even willing to pay extra but they are not helpful. There's no emphaty at all. We really disappointed. Even the security officer showed concern for my mother in law and told us to ask the front desk again. But the answer is still the same. Have to wait 3 pm for check in. In the end my mother in law slept at the sofa at ground floor. Why hope the staff or the supervisor show some symphaty for the elderly. There's no emphaty at all shown!. For your information, everything we came to Malacca, we always stay at Pines Hotel but this experience made us to think twice again for our next trip to Malacca.

Lack of shops nearby.

The room was awesome. Very spacious indeed!

The bathroom door...the tv & channels, lastly the breakfast! same menu for 2 days!
