Budget friendly stay in Paris

Friendly staff, easy check-in, and a great location. 👍🏼

4th floor without elevator, you can hear all the noises arround but I think it's normal in Paris, toilet need renovation, they ask you to leave the keys on the reception when you go out.

Had to leave after one night because it was flipping horrific. Avoid it.

Honestly, the only pleasant thing was the lady we met at reception on the first night. She seemed very sweet.

Where do I begin? - Mould all over the bathroom (which they tried to paint over with regular satin paint while we were out the following day after I brought it up). - Shower drain wasn’t draining properly, it seemed clogged and the shower was over-flowing. Did I mention the shower & curtain was covered in mould? - General cleanliness was poor. - Paper thin walls. Kept up throughout the night by neighbour on the phone. - Mattress was an overly soft foam. Bed sheets were horrible at regulating heat. - Asked if we could use the kettle for hot water and weren’t allowed to use it ourselves. The guy barely boiled it before putting it in a tea pot, which was strange. - WiFi was way too slow and unusable. - Denied any room change or partial refund, so I’m hoping that booking.com can do something about it. I’ve brought it to them.

ABSOLUTELY GROSSED OUT

Absolutely nothing

The installations are quite old which is fine. I though it was at least clean as they're noted 4.1 on Google and I think 4 on booking. Well I can say this rates mean absolutely nothing any more!! I don't know if all of their friends leave reviews, if they pay bots... I have no idea but anyway, I slept there and the morning after I got in the shower and discover a bunch of hairs stuck to the shower's wall!!! Terribly disgusting. I started thinking well, if they don't clean the showers imagine everything else!!! I had paid two nights but I immediately went to the front desk and asked for a refund for the second night because there was no way I was spending another second in that god awful nasty hotel. The guy at the front desk tells me he can't decide and I should come by later. Fast-forward to that same afternoon, I call and explain the situation, the woman on the other side tells me I'm a liar, everything's clean! But, I have pictures. I tell her that. She proceeds to call me a liar telling me I myself put those hairs there and she would not refund me. I dropped it because I didn't want to get into a fight with this woman yelling at me on the phone. I lost 80 bucks and had to pay for another hotel that night. Worst experience ever.

This is a very very basic hotel. I chose it because of the Booking rating and honestly it does not live up to expectations. Clean but very very basic. Nil wifi service (or service that will remind those of you who are hold enough of what it was like to try and log in in 2000 with a gamer in the house!). Rooms basic. Decor in the common areas is sad. Room cleaning was minimal each day. Walls are paper thin and you hear everything in the other rooms. The two bars downstairs attract loud crowds till 2am. Price is actually not that cheap considering. It's a hostel experience.

Good location,a bit farther out but if you know the bus + metro routes it's fine. Maybe not for first Paris visit.

Very noisy at night from about 8 to after midnight due to two restaurants below. A lot of drinking seems to go with the food and that seems to involve a lot of shouting. Ok for a one or two night stay on low budget, and clean and comfortable,so not fault of hotel. No electric kettle as often is a thing in Paris hotels. Take a small travel kettle so you can brew that 3am cup of tea us Brits need.

Everything was great, comfortable room, view, good location, shops around and Montmartre is close. Nice receptionist, kind, I checked in really late and reception is always available. Great place to stay. 10* Merci

Breakfast was not offered, neither informed at the reception,

He could have explained the Paris city ,with an help of a map that he kept at his office, at vacating time I was informed and given the map which could have been very helpful

Good value for money

The staff at the reception were very lovely. The guy there let us in our room around 13:15 although check-in normally started at 14:00. Our room was very clean. There was a fresh, clean smell. The hotel is very near to the Guy Moquet metro station which made getting around easy.

There was no AC in the room and only a ventilator which was not enough to cool us down as the temperatures were very high (around 32-33 degrees celcius) when we were there (at the end of June). The hotel is close to the metro station but we needed to transfer lines to get to places we wanted to see. It still did not take us long to get where we wanted.

Basic amenities and no air condition but there was a very good fan and it was great value for money, short walk to the metro.

An extra power plug or two would have made a big difference. The cafes downstairs can be a bit loud if you have the windows open.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is well-maintained and conveniently located near a metro station, just a 15-minute walk from Montmartre. The neighborhood is lively, with several bistros nearby.

The room was very nice, clean, cozy and with a good view to the street. The staff is 5 stars! Both guys were very helpful and friendly, and were very flexible with our luggage, I totally recommend this place to all users.
