A perfectly cozy and peaceful stay that felt just like home
Cozy, spotless, and beautifully designed — you feel right at home from the very first moment. The quiet neighborhood, surrounded by nature, makes it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a slower pace of life! The free bike rental is such a wonderful bonus, and it’s only a 15-minute ride to Breda’s beautiful city center. Truly a perfect stay — I can’t wait to come back!

Excellent, fully recommend
we were four motorcycle travellers and arrived after a very very windy and wet four hour ride. I'd dropped my bike at the raised street entrance (more later) but as we arrived Erik met us at the door and immediately said he accepted the fact that we were literally soaked through and just asked us to keep dirt to the minimum but knew that it was going to be tough to keep everything dry. He showed us around the house and started the pellet burning stove, and put on a pot of coffee. He recommended restaurants nearby in walking distance. He also moved the garden furniture so that we could leave our motorcycles close. It was raining, we definitely wouldn't be using it. Our breakfast the next morning was amazing, pastries and bread (freshly baked) several jams, peanut butter, cereals, yogurt, fruit, meats, cheese, nuts, freshly squeezed orange, various coffees and brought more fresh 20 minutes later. As mentioned above I dropped my motorcycle on the raised street entrance, this resulted in snapping my clutch lever. The next morning we were going off to source a replacement in Breda, we were going to use the cycles that are available however Erik took one of our party to the identified shop, no success but they recommended another one and made a call in advance. Erik then took us to the new shop, translated the problem and couldn't have been more helpful. I'm sure at the very least we'd have taken all day without his help if we'd have been successful at all. Very very appreciative of the welcome, the care and the extreme help we were given. We were able to continue our journey and tour. Absolutely recommend the cottage, the facilities were everything you could need and more besides, the beds were comfortable and clean, the bathroom was clean and shower gels were provided, towels were beautifully clean and soft an all round great experience and booking, at a very good value price.

Lovely comfortable cottage with friendly and helpful hosts
Lovely modern comfortable large space with all facilities needed and courtyard to the front with seating area. Parking is available just up the road. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. There is a bus route on the main road less than 5 minutes away which goes into the centre of Breda. We would definitely return and use the bikes to do the route to Belgium along the river which they recommended.

Cozy, comfortable, and spacious.
Location is not super easy to reach by car, but it's a very nice location once you're there, and there's enough parking space. Super nice bathroom, comfortable bedding, ample linnen and bathrobes to go round. Place has loads of reading material and games, including games for the younger ones. The wood burner adds a nice and cozy atmosphere, both in the evening and early morning.
Upper floor is a bit squeaky, but you might account this to atmosphere. Kitchen needs an update, especially the electric hob, though this wasn't a big issue for me personally. That's about it. It's probably best to visit with a group of people because then price-per-person reduces drastically.
