Room was not air conditioned. It was rather hot, not comfortable. More beautiful and better equipped rooms are certainly available in this nice hotel.

In the room we did not find the kettle and other things indicated in the booking and then we only had 2 bath towels in 4. due to a booking error the check out was brought forward by a day and the hotel without any warning collected our personal items badly and placed them without any privacy in plastic bags at the reception, as everyone passed by, (if they had at least kept the luggage in a private room it would have been appropriate). To the dismay of the children who saw themselves literally thrown out of the hotel. they said they had called but it was not true. all this discovered at 3.00 pm and the room not used by anyone again. experience not to be recommended and we will certainly not return.

The hotel is well situated and generally well presented. However there are so many small things that could make such a difference and make it a really special place and maximise its potential. Having bottled water in a room is an absolute given, regardless of the standard/ cost of a room. The TV in the bedroom whilst it powered up was not functional, no remote for this to. The one in the lounge worked fine. Absolutely nothing in the fridge, we booked a suite, at least offer one beer or a small bottle of wine and find a way of being compensated for this. The breakfast whilst ok could be vastly improved on, simple wins. Staff, location and the ambience of the hotel is very good and for very little investment it could be so much better. Bar closes at 11pm and no room service is available after this time… even travel lodges win in this regard. Definitely stay again come on guys you really are so close to being something really special. Please take this as constructive criticism it’s not vindictive in any way. Your hotel was the last of 7 we stayed as we travelled through, Spain, Switzerland, France and Belgium. We travel a lot and in no way am I attempting to be picky here. Great spa bath btw!

The restaurant looks nice, we havent eaten there. The forest is beautiful and the rooms were spacious and clean. But the rooms are super noisy. You hear the people in the room above you walk as the wooden floors make a lot of noise. We were already planning on waking up early but even if we wanted we could not have continued sleeping.

Beautiful location and the hotel looks beautiful from the outside and the restaurant is good for dinner

Inside the hotel everything is very old. I appreciate antique look but it has to be maintained and it does need some serious renovations and updates. I needed the room only for sleeping and to take a shower, so it was ok for that but it’s not a room to spend a lot of time in. I would have not liked to stay here for vacation. I was here just to visit family.

The location is rather far from the town centre. But we could hire push bikes at the location. So did not need a sober driver. :)

Rooms were a little small. But it was sufficient. There was even a small desk which for me is a must.

The location suits us as it is close to family . The room is very small and very dated, the bathroom washbasins had NO plugs The towels for the shower were not replaced if we showed and 6.30/7 o’clock pm.

Didn't realize this during the reservation, but there's no air conditioning in the room, and it was really hot inside the room. No mosquito net on the windows, so it was either the heat or the mosquitoes during the night :)

the bar shut at 11.0clock .we had a bad journey due to road works .the staff wouldn’t serve us a couple off drinks although we got there at 10 .11 .and was a lock in going on after that time .not impressed

location near the forest is fantastic.

They were renovating the hotel, which I did not know. Opening the curtains and looking over building material is not what I expected of this hotel. Although I understand people would enjoy sitting on the terrace in the evening with the beautiful summery day, the noise was too much at 12.00 am. As respect of guests staying in the hotel they could kindly close this area a bit earlier. The hotel room was very small, although travelling on my own for this amount of money with that view from my window, I feel a bit 'overcharged'.

I liked the cleanliness of the room and the view.

The room did not have tea/coffee facilities which I requested when booking and overlooked the fact it was not included in the price. The price was too high for what the room contained. The mattress was uncomfortable. I wouldn't rate it as a 4*Hotel.

I regularly stay at this hotel. The staff are a friendly bunch and I like the location.

INSECTS EVERYWHERE IN THE ROOM!!! cheap furniture, and the rooms are full of insects! I asked the reception for the possibility of changing the room for this reason, they changed my room but the insects were also in the new room. poor service, room without safe, without mini-bar and any small service. Also the restaurant really sucks, remove the fourth star from this hotel or close it.

Pretty much nothing

The room was tiny, the heating didn't work, I asked for a blanket none came, the sheet on the duvet had a stain ion, possibly blood, the furniture took up half the room which was so small I could very nearly touch both walls at the same time. It was not clean freezing cold and hideous. The cost of E130+ a night was absurd, I checked out early and couch-surfed rather than stay there but was charged for the whole booking To add insult to the whole experience one of the staff actually SAT on me on a couch in the lobby and laughed about how funny it was. I wasn't laughing.
