If you enjoy peace and quiet in a tranquil area, 1.1/2 miles from Betws-y-Coed, you will love this 2 bed roomed cottage (1 bedroom also available). Clear instructions were sent to us and on arrival there was a welcome pack (Prosecco, box of chocolates and packet of Welsh cakes). Although they are old picturesque cottages on the outside, they are very modern inside. There are bedrooms on either side of the lounge/dining room/kitchen. One has a comfortable double and the other one has twin beds – both have excellent and spacious shower facilities. There is an L-shaped settee, table and 2 chairs and a modern well appointed kitchen, which takes up the whole wall. It includes cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, plenty of kitchen utensils and tea/coffee. A useful addition is the thermostat to control the central heating. There are plenty of parking spaces, with seating outside and great views of mountains and fields.

Be aware that the single track hilly road to the cottages is quite narrow in places. Take sufficient food with you, as the nearest 2 mini markets are in Betws-y-Coed.

Lovely little cottage in Snowdonia. Lovely quiet rural location in beautiful surroundings. Yet short drive to the village centre with everything you need. Perfect choice when staying in Snowdonia!

Location and great hosts

Fabulous location, comfy beds , good kitchen, easy check in , toilets and showers for both bedrooms

Heating and hot water packed in after first night , did contact the owner but had no reply so had to use the cooker to warm the room , boiled kettle to wash dishes , hair dryer only blows cold air , very poor as in no reply to obvious big problem
