The set up and location are fantastic. All you could possible need for a romantic getaway…if everything worked

There were a few things that didn’t work as intended. Heating the hot tub (despite taking advice from the staff member on arrival), proved to be a real faf and not handled well in resolving with the owner

Cosy, comfortable private cottage

Stayed for a long weekend in the stand alone cottage and hot tub. The welcome couldn't have been better. Cottage available early and given all the information we needed. Full bag of logs for the hot tub and fire. Very well equipped kitchen in general. The hotel the cottage belonged to was simply a historic gem. Amazingly quaint hotel serving really good food. The landlord was great, friendly and helpful. Parking was available but not always free. Will definitely be returning on our next trip to the area and can imagine the cottage would be even more cosy and welcoming in the cold winter months. Thanks all.

Comfortable stay outside of the town

Well presented inside, everything you could need. Quiet at night, short walk into the town.

Could do with gates to secure the patio for dogs, and a bit more screening outside to separate the hot tub area from general public area. It is up steep steps to access and behind the kitchens so you can smell the cooking. Needs a few minor repairs

Great hideaway

Great location, excellent facilities, views amazing

We brought the dog and was disappointed that it was £30 pounds extra for the 3 nights a bit rich , considering the dog is restricted to the accommodation and garden area . No WiFi struggled with signal due to the surroundings . Even the TV signal was hit and miss on certain channels.

Beautiful cottage, but not as private as I would like .

Clean, and everything you could think of was there .a home from home .

Only one bag of logs provided for 3 night stay, so only went in hot tub once , and tried to save logs for the fire inside as it was freezing. Also was not aware that other guests would be in our area. I felt awkward in the hot tub with strangers 2 feet away . No internet.

Idyllic and relaxing, perfect for what we needed!

Location was perfect! Flexibility of being self contained meant we could come and go as we wanted. Hot tub was great after hiking Snowdon to ease muscles! Staff were helpful and friendly whenever we needed anything!

Was quite expensive but worked great for us and we saved money by cooking and having the resources there!

The kitchen was well equipped the location was great

The hot tub was out of use, there was damage in the property, broken bedside table, broken bin, the accommodative was dog friendly but the bar:restaurant was not. The television was not connecting and we had to connect the Ariel The bathroom looked like it had recently been re grouted the tiles had not been cleaned after it The outside area was like a building site

A wonderful cottage. Fantastic terrace and hot tub. To access the main hotel within a few steps was excellent. So much character in the hotel and great food at the hotel .

The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing under the ✨ The property was clean and comfortable and had all we needed.

The parking was difficult did not like parking on the side of the road, the car park had limited spaces however there isn't much they can do about it. Limited storage for clothes.

A great time, recommended and would certainly stop again

Lovely location, close to the village. We had breakfast on the first morning in the hotel, which was fantastic. Refurbished kitchen was superb. Facilities in the cottage spot on!

Just minor points - attention to detail on cleanliness (strong smell of dog on arrival), path up to cottage overgrown and a bit dangerous in the dark/wet, hottub took 2hrs to heat up.

I gifted this holiday to my parents as i was unable to go and they said it was a beautiful little cottage, which is nice and private and quiet. The cottage was perfectly decorated and appointed and everything you needed was available.

Sadly Disappointing stay.

The kitchen was impressive for a small let & with everything you may need eg micro, washing machine, dishwasher, juicer, coffee machine. Shower was decent. Bed was comfortable.

Bathroom was constantly damp (extractor fan not working/faulty?) Pillows v uncomfortable. We had a few issues with cleanliness on arrival & with lack of basics eg dishwasher tabs, tea towel etc, mentioned most of these things to owner who was apologetic & did what he could to rectify.

Amazing location, love this little area of the world. Cottage was just what was needed, had everything that was required for a couple of days stay right through to a week or more. WiFi although available in the cottage wasn't working, however did no harm to be disconnected for a couple of days. Dog was very welcome and also enjoyed her stay! Shower was fantastic and food available in the host hotel.

Loved it, just what we nèeded, privacy, lots of outdoor space. Hot tub was like taking a bath in the woods beautiful surroundings, staff where really friendly. Breakfast was delish, evening meal was excellent. Can't wait to go back we will definitely be booking again

Perfect couple getaway

This cottage is just amazing we stayed for 2 nights the setting perfect so peaceful and quiet the cottage is beautiful. The decor was beautiful and we had so many facilities everything we needed and more. The location is set up high completely secluded with beautiful views. Having the hot tub in privacy was lovely. We throughly enjoyed our stay so happy we booked this place. Was everything we wanted plus much more. Highly recommend and we will be back. The location was great too just a short walk into betws y coed. Well done on producing this fantastic hidden gem.

The owner the most amazing and friendly person in the world , always helpful . High recommend this place . 2 min from petrol station . 5 min from ZIP WORLD . Stunning view everywhere !
