The pool was amazing!
The hotel is a bit dated. Our room was kind of small, and the bathroom was tiny. Also the toilet seat lid was broken in the bathroom.
I had a big issue with their breakfast. First breakfast ended at 9:30 AM which is way too early for guests on holiday. Second we were very much looking forward to the breakfast buffet as advertised. Then in the morning we were told we had only two breakfast options: a European/western or a traditional Sri Lankan style breakfast. Very disappointing.

A beautiful hotel with welcoming staff. The room was beautiful and the views overlooking paddy fields amazing. The breakfast safari package was a brilliant touch and we loved the swimming pool as well

King bed with plenty of pillows.
Good shower.
Nice big room with patio overlooking rice fields and the pool.
Wifi was bad. Power points were different on bedside tables and did not charge phones. Had to abandon them and charge from the kitchenette power point.
Bed was firm and could feel springs on one side. No doona, sheet only.
Noisy air conditioning at times with poor circulation. Filters may need cleaning. Basin was slow to drain.

The location and view from the balcony. Comfortable hotel for one or two nights (max) during a tour of Sri Lanka. The hotel made us a packed breakfast to take on the early morning Yalla Safari.
