The pool

We thought the property was gorgeous and the pool was the best part. My kids didn’t want to visit the beach because the pool was incredible. The property was very secure and we felt safe.

Our room was very outdated and the extra bed for our kids was immediately next to the front door, which I wasn’t comfortable with. The locks were good but there was a crack in the middle of the door and light was peaking through. Definitely needs to be fixed.

The furniture and lighting in the unit were poor.

Key retrieval was fairly straightforward. I communicated my ETA through WhatsApp, and the agent was very responsive and easy to coordinate with. The gate security staff were a bit unfriendly, but I imagine that may simply come with the nature of the job. The pool was definitely the best feature of the property—unfortunately, we didn’t have much time to enjoy it as much as we would have liked.

The full kitchen was a nice amenity; however, both the stove and the kitchen sink did not function very well. The accommodation itself felt quite outdated and somewhat inexpensive in quality. The shower was particularly disappointing—very low water pressure, water spraying in different directions, slow draining, and not as clean as expected. The bedroom was also underwhelming. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable, and the space could benefit from a refresh. A fresh coat of paint (especially replacing the pink walls) and removing or rearranging some of the unnecessary furniture would make a big difference. If you tend to sleep well anywhere and don’t plan on spending much time in the unit—as we did—this place may be perfectly adequate.
