Really lovely quaint accommodation in Playa de Coco. Although the weather was poor, I was so relaxed in my hammock on the porch.

Nada!

Property, location, room were all that I expected and wanted. Private room with bath, clean with AC was perfect. I enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and cooked regularly breakfast and dinners there. The natural setting within mature growth trees and plants was so relaxing. Close walk to beach, stores, restaurants and grocery was ideal. Met many guests from various places around the world. Had great conversations and everyone respected each other. Secure location and felt safe. Neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Luis!

Well when booking I did view on google maps and roadway to beach was open. Unfortunately, it's privately owned and now closed to public access. Owner has made arrangements with local bar.restaurant that guests can cut through to get to beach easier. Not really in his control. The other was the sliding door on the room next door, was pretty noisy as guests came and went. Possible new door style would be nice. Other that that, no major complaints.

I had a wonderful stay here! Luis is lovely and happy to help with any questions you may have. I had to adjust my booking in person and was able to do so easily (so I was actually here for I think ~7 nights). Lilly (the younger pup) would keep me company when I sat on my porch and drank coffee. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe here. I kept food in the community fridge and made coffee every morning in the kitchen. I used the wifi to work remotely most days and never had any trouble. The walk to the main downtown street (and so, the beach) is short and accessible, but the property is enough removed that there aren't people outside the gate constantly. I would absolutely come back here if I come back to Coco!

My taxi driver and I could not figure out where the door/gate was until some people happened to come through. But, I know they have painted and put up a new sign (and it looks great!), so it should be easier to find now. The showers are chilly if you aren't used to it!

I liked that I was able to get air conditioning in the end. the first caravan I booked did not have air conditioning and was too small to contain my luggage.

I didn’t have the host check the messages where I tried to clarify info about the property. he blamed it on the website but these are the messages that go directly to the owner; he just hadn’t checked them. So I had no hot water. the kitchen doesn’t quite have enough stuff to do what you want and when I got there other guests had trashed it. I think Luis cleaned it up. To be clear, because his ad wasn’t, none of the caravans, including the one he calls an apartment, have hot water, and the apartment is a caravan too. the short cut to get to the beach was only open certain hours and it’s almost impossible to open the lock to the gate from the outside. the shower drain was also too big. it ate my soap and my lid to my shampoo. All in all I had an okay stay but would not have with my original booking.
