There were no downsides for me and the host was wonderful. I'll probably come back if the price is right

Our host was lovely, the apartment was spacious and clean with both beach and bath towels provided. There was a small breakfast selection available of toast and jams/ spreads. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and a few essentials, the host kindly gave us a couple of ingredients from her garden on request. We even had a problem with the cooker which was quickly sorted by the host. We were able to use the pool at all times. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning and a lovely place to start and finish our day. The host offered us lifts to and from the town which was really generous and she was excellent with communication with us.

The location is a little out the way and taking a taxi up to the villa is quite expensive for the short drive it is.

Amazing view of Sorrento and the Gulf of Naples. Incredibly gracious host as well! This place has everything you could need or want including a pool.

The drive up is a bit bumpy but that’s not their fault!

Eleonora & her family were so lovely & kind. They picked us up and dropped us back to the apartment whenever we wanted which was great as it’s about a 45 min walk uphill from Sorrento. The view from the apartment was absolutely breathtaking. There were 2 lovely dogs too!

Unfortunately the apartment was very dirty when we arrived & there was a musky/damp smell. There was also mould inside the dishwasher & washing machine - we didn’t bring this up at the time but I’m sure eleonora would’ve cleaned for us. The bed was very uncomfortable and the bed frame wasn’t accidentally attached the bed for some reason?! There are a few dogs nearby that bark quite a lot which causes a barking choir - didn’t bother us but might annoy other people!
