The room was clean, fresh and comfortable, with everything we needed for a short stay. The rooftop view was incredible and definitely one of the highlights. The room and rooftop area felt very safe and secure, and the host was extremely helpful, checked in during our stay and went above and beyond when needed. We also really appreciated the useful extras, including the washing machine, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and straighteners. The bed was comfortable enough for a few nights, and overall the room was a good base for exploring.

The biggest frustration was that there is no pool on site, even though we had filtered Booking.com for properties with a pool. After booking, we realised the pool was actually a few doors down and cost €10 per person, and could only be used if that hotel was not fully booked. The lift was also still being installed during our stay, which meant a lot of noise and mess, and we had to carry our luggage up and down five floors. I understand this may not be the owner’s fault, but I had asked about it a week before arriving and was told it would be finished, so it was very inconvenient. The main front door also seemed to be left open regularly, even after we closed it, which we didn’t like. The rooftop view is amazing, but the area is shared and the seating is not very comfortable, so it isn’t really somewhere to relax for long periods. A few small things could also be improved: the toilet seat was broken, the coffee pods provided didn’t seem to work with the machine, and a blind on the door would be helpful for bright mornings. **There is also a local rooster that drove me crazy as never stopped The best restaurants are actually walking left from the accomodations as you come out the door an amazing tapas style place and towards the water hotel villa gardens! Amazing

Lovely host. Comfortable bed, great linen. Views amazing of Sorrento and the bay. Lovely sitting on the balcony. Great for a one or two night stay. Washing machine is helpful. Excellent shower. Great coffee machine.

Like everyone has commented 66 steps to the apartment, quite winding steps. Needs glasses for wine or beer in the kitchen. The room is smaller than I expected but it was ideal for a one night stay.
