    I stayed for one night at Holiday Inn Excel and it had everything I needed - hot breakfast, excellent wifi and close proximity to Excel. Very nice hotel and the staff are very helpful as well. Highly recommended.

    Overall, the hotel has a great location, which is one of its biggest advantages. The rooms were generally clean and well maintained from a housekeeping perspective, and some members of the staff were courteous and helpful. However, there were several areas that significantly affected our stay. The quality of the food was below expectations, and the overall service was inconsistent. A persistent rotten smell was present in both the lift and the lobby on our floor throughout our stay. We reported this issue multiple times, but unfortunately no action was taken. We also reported that the bathroom door locks were not functioning properly. Although the issue was noted down and we were assured that a maintenance staff member would be sent, nobody ever came to resolve it. While the rooms were kept clean, they are in need of maintenance. A few of the lights were not working, indicating that some basic upkeep is overdue. Overall, while the excellent location is a definite positive, the lack of responsiveness to maintenance and cleanliness concerns, along with the inconsistent service and disappointing food, made the experience fall short of expectations.
