Casa delle Salinelle

location, host, neighbours. host collected me from lascari station on arrival and drove me to cefalu on departure. also she allowed me arrive early and depart late. I spoke little Italian but despite this she managed to engage in very friendly and informative conversation. a wonderful, romantic beach with a great and friendly restaurant, la voce del mare, 15 minutes walk from the property. you can hear the sea from the bedroom. wonderful sunset and great sea. perfect!!

My family of 4 just returned home from our first trip to Sicily.We stayed at Casa delle Salinelle July 2,2019 to July 8,2019.The cottage is a true and rustic typical Sicilian sea-house.The location is great,short walk from the sea(a few meters and you are at a beautiful beach)and far away from some of the busy traffic.Particularly pleasant was the little garden complete with barbecue, tables and chairs,sunbeds and flowering shrubs. We only prepared breakfast and sandwiches, but the kitchen appeared to be equipped for more.We also had a fridge, good air-con and hair drier, T.V, shower,etc.The cottage is close to Cefalu and a great place from which to radiate out to the whole island. The owners are very welcoming and helpful .They went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed
