Chalet Benidorm

The host Veronica, could not have been more helpful with any of our many queries. The views from Chalet Benidorm are spectacular. Great sized swimming pool, cleaned twice per week. Loungers and seating around the pool, large umbrella type shade if you need it. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of seating areas in chalet, great if you want a quiet area to yourself. One en suite bathroom and 2 others, for 8 of us, that was adequate. Large sitting room with very comfortable corner sofa. Very secure main doors on chalet and locking gate into property so always felt secure.

Difficult to get taxi into Benidorm and some taxi drivers didn't have a clue how to locate us, very frustrating as it is quite far out from shops, bars etc. No welcome pack which we felt would have been very helpful. Previous guests had not respected chalet or outdoor area, we felt it needed a deep clean. Outdoor areas in need of landscaping or really thorough tidy up as a bit messy and this is your first impression on arrival. Extra set of keys would be useful.

Great villa in a lovely location. Great views! Taxi fares can be an added expense, recomend care hire, as its located on a mountain. Plenty of local supermarkets that cost around 7.50 Euro one way. Hosts were on time and pleasent with thier communication. Had issues with Wifi, but this was put right with in 48 hours. A taxi to Benidrorm costs about 15-20 euro one way in a taxi. Beds were good overall, however, a couple of them are a little uncomfortable. Plenty of space for groups. Great pool. Bedding good quality and plenty of bathrooms over two floors. Clean and tidy upon arrival. Would recommend. Air Con in all rooms. Good Wifi signal. Thank you!

Things to improve the experience to make it excellent, would be, some local knowledge, taxi numbers, takeaway places that deliver to that location. A couple of new mattresses and kitchen equipment e.g. oven dishes, plates, coffee machine or cafetiere etc. The gazebo needs stiching as it can get windy, which has meant its torn in several places. Some of the garden and plants look unkept. needs some TLC to restore it to its best.
