de locatie is prachtig, een verblijf met een terras met uitzicht op de baai van Salerno. De auto moet langs een drukke, smalle weg geparkeerd staan wat problemen kan geven. Wij hebben de auto 5 dagen niet gebruikt en alles met de bus gedaan. Parkeren is overal aan de Amalfikust een probleem en een ware kunst. De gastvrouw Antonella is goud, ze spreekt Engels en maakt dat je je meteen op je gemak voelt. De keuken/kamer is afgespiegeld aan de grote slaapkamers wat klein maar we zijn veel op pas geweest. In alle ruimtes hangt een prima werkende airco wat heel fijn is na een lange dag in de hitte. In Raito (dorpje waar het verblijf zich bevindt, niet in Vietri zoals lijkt) zijn kleien levensmiddelen winkeltjes, je kunt er lopend heen. Iedereen is behulpzaam en vriendelijk.

badkamer lijkt op de foto's mooier dan hij is, voldoet maar is verouderd en lijkt daardoor minder schoon. Ook de ruimte waar de wasmachine staat is niet heel fraai, daarentegen wel heel authentiek. Je ziet daar hoe bijzonder het huis tegen de berg aan is gebouwd.

We visited the property in September 2020. Views from the house are amazing and the house had most of the facilities we needed.

Our biggest issue during the stay was the state of the outside area. Terraces look great in the pictures, however, pictures are probably a few years old. The owner said that she couldn't take care of the garden because of the COVID, but it looks like there was nothing done for the ages (not even watered) - see the pictures. The umbrella on the terrace was broken - the owner said that it was broken by the kids on the previous days and She will try to get it fixed the next day. However, nothing was done or mentioned until the rest of the stay (4 nights) and the umbrella looked like was broken looooong time ago (see pictures). Garden furniture was filthy and even though the views were amazing, you cannot really enjoy it that much because of the close surrounding. House furniture is quite old, but it is not the issue. There is no A/C in the house and the sofa bed is very uncomfortable. Please note: there are lots of stairs, but this is standard in this area. Parking is free on the side of the streets. We had no problem but probably because of the covid - I can imagine this is the problem when there are more tourists in the area. On a side note (not related to the property): Covid excuse was used a lot during our stay on the Amalfi coast - for example, tourists weren't allowed to use free part of the public beach because there was covid, however, there was no covid if you pay 30e per person in the paid area. Lots of paid attractions have been closed earlier because of covid as well etc.
