Very nice

Everything was fine, the owner worked with me to get in quickly even though I booked last minute. He was very responsive when I had questions.

His English isn’t great so for once my Spanish came in useful, but there were no problems because of this.

Really good location in the old town, only a few minutes walk from restaurants, bars, bus and metro stations. Nice little supermarket just around the corner to stock up on provisions. Lovely little private terrace to sit outside and property felt safe and secure. Kitchen utensils, towels, kettle, toaster, etc all provided and worked great. 😊

Soundproofing from the upstairs flat isn’t the best, often heard chairs and other items being dragged around as they moved about and could easily hear conversations, etc. terrace is also overlooked by other flats so although private, there isn’t much privacy. It would be difficult to do anything about the above, however the shower did tend to leak badly due to the shower door not closing properly which is a fairly easy fix. Difficult to resolve the soundproofing or privacy issues but could be helpful to make people aware of this before they arrive so they can bring earplugs or make sure they are not on the terrace sunbathing naked 😉

Renter BEWARE!

To be honest nothing was good about this place I rate it very poorly

The owners very unresponsive and down right rude. Very poor air-conditioning although it's advertised as air conditioned it's only in the main living area. Not the bedrooms! Impossible to sleep when it's horribly hot. We asked the owners for fans for the bedrooms they outright refused. The showere constantly flooded the bathroom because of lack of maintenance to the shower door. The microwave is in very poor working order the turntable inside is shot. Only one key provided which is very difficult with two grown men traveling together with different business schedules. When we asked for a second key, we were told it's impossible. Photos on website do not accurately reflect this property contacted Booking.Com several times during the stay. Was not provided a resolution also, blinds in the one bedroom with the sliding door would not close properly

Avoid like the plague

Location in old town and on a quiet cul de sac. Leaving!

Host didn't meet us at flat or send key code in advance. Had to phone. Twin room just fitted 2 beds with almost no floor space. Flat was refurbished in the worst cowboy, DIY fashion. Electrics dodgy, shower leaked, utility windows didn't open, kitchen very badly equipped, a broken chair. Photos on booking.com misleading. We were on first floor but photos were of top floor. Book elsewhere

Convenient location but the grubbiness and damaged sink, drip from upper floor ceiling were very off putting.

Access to the park, public transport and city centre is really good. Shops nearby and buses too.

The sink was broken, water spilling onto floor, we couldn’t use it. The place needed a deep clean and we did find the entrance lock very difficult to use.

Not very good. Pictures are not as the apartment we stayed in show. No photos of the 2nd bedroom. .

2nd bedroom only really suitable for a child. Bed was small. No aircon in bedrooms. Had to ask for a fan. Had problems getting into main door and had to ask passers by to help and also had to ring owner at 12.30 at night to help us get in. Loose wires in ceilings where lights should be. Shower leaks.

Great location but lacking love

The location was great, in the old town, walkable to many great restaurants, bars, the wonderful market and art museums. The beds were great, with clean, good quality linen.

The apartment was incredibly tired and would benefit from a good clean. The toilet seat was broken, the toilet didn't flush, dust was pretty thick in areas, the sofa very tired and utensils pretty sparse, with just one bowl in the kitchen etc. Bit.. Generally it felt like it needed some care and updating, it felt like student digs.

For check-in I called by a phone number from the sign near the entrance, 2-3 minutes and the owner arrived. The apartment is comfortable, spacious, clean, quiet and well-equipped with A/C, kitchen, wifi. I liked the ceiling which made our stay more special

We lived in the apartment on the grand floor. To keep privacy, the windows were closed outside the whole day and anyway, not much sunshine came from the narrow street. As a result it's dark inside, not easy to wake up. No parking around.

Very nice host! Room has a lot of utensils and airconditioning works well. Also some basic cooking needs available. Location was perfect, close to the park as well as the center of Valencia.

The bed was okay and some of the drawers do not close properly but nothing significant.

the location was exelent, in el carmen old town, I like also that the owner call us and asked us when we arrive. We appreciate that he was waiting for us. Also ,he ask us to tell him if we need anything. The beds were comfortable

The pictures of the apartment on booking.com look nicer than the apartment in the reality, cause it is not mantained, and a kind of worn. It is so pity, because with a little effort from the owner it could be turn into very nice apartment. We left the apartment with mix feelings, because it had the size we wanted, a big balcony, the location, and everything else, but because it was not in a good condition i didn,t really feel stay there longer. Also the air condition put out only cold air And last- the stairs up to the apartment can be very danger specially if you are old, and with a heavy luggage.

Location was very good, kitchen would have been better with a kettle to use. Great that it had a washing machine for longer stays. An extra mirror or 2 would be very useful as the only one was in the bathroom. An iron was available as was a hairdryer.

It was absolutely fine for our needs, it was a base to explore other areas.

The apartment was super

Comfortable, spacious apartment with lovely terrace. Good area, central location and authentic Spanish locality. Only 5 mins stroll into centre of Ciutat Vela. Our apartment had 2 bedrooms, so was ideal for us travelling as a mother and daughter.

Spacious and quiet

Quite spacious apartment with a nice layout, private bathroom and small balcony. Very close to the old town, some restaurants and shops. Smart TV with Netflix for sure is nice for someone not knowing Spanish. Surprisingly quiet neighborhood. Working air conditioning.

The furniture layout is different then on the pictures and one window is sealed. There’s no wardrobe nor any hooks to hang clothes. Only one hook for towels in the bathroom. There’s coffee machine but no coffee. Broken wine opener and no sharp knives. Shower railing is barely holding on to the wall!
