Aglaea Apartment in Rhodes Old Town

Excellent location.

The key box was stiff and difficult to open. I had to phone the host. The host was very helpful.

Located right in old town

Hard to get to

The main advantage of these apartments is the location. The host was also friendly, polite, and pleasant to communicate with, and when our fridge broke on the first day, it was repaired quickly.

Unfortunately, there were quite a few issues with the apartment. The shower had mold, the dishes were generally dirty, and the overall impression was that the apartment was not very clean. The soundproofing is a major problem. We could hear absolutely everything from the neighbors upstairs. The ceiling in our apartment is wooden, while their floor is wooden as well and creaks extremely loudly. At night, it was impossible not to hear what was happening upstairs. The Wi-Fi was also very poor. There were no hooks to hang towels, and there was nowhere to dry clothes. There were no garbage bags provided, and for an 8-day stay for two people, we were given only one roll of toilet paper. The cleaner also came to clean the apartment just one day before our departure, when it was no longer particularly useful. It was also difficult to sleep with the windows open because of loud music coming from nearby establishments.
