Athina house

The property was lovely, clean & central. Perfect location for exploring the old town. The property was clean, basic - but had everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable, shower pressure good & kitchen functional. Host was lovely, attentive & responded to anything we needed. She left bottles of water in the fridge, which was a nice touch.

Only downside was no outdoor space, of course expected, nonetheless, the little step outside was perfect for a morning coffee

Clean property with good space. Great location right in the centre of Rhodes old town. Very quiet location, you get the occasional motorbike in the day but not in the night/during sleep hours. Comfortable soft mattress

Nothing - just a word of advice that the stairs are steep so if you need to use the bathroom at night you must be careful!

It was clean, comfortable, quiet, in a great location and overall exactly what I needed for my stay.

The power only works when the key is in the slot in the room, therefore anything in the fridge is not kept cool during the day while you're out and about. The stairs are steep and not suitable for very young children, anyone with any mobility restrictions, or anyone with a bit too much alcohol :)

It was close to the old town and was clean.

I got locked in the bathroom and couldn’t get out for about 20 minutes because the key was jammed in the lock. It took my partner to get me out - if I had been on my own, I wouldn’t have got out. The shower head bracket fell apart because it was loose. No toaster or full length mirror and not enough clothes hangers and no drawers and nowhere to dry clothes. It was very confusing trying to gain access to the property because it was named Helios” not Athina as stated (we had to ring the owner via Booking.com because the key wouldn’t work as we were trying to get in the other property, not Athina). The owner didn’t greet us because she said she had to leave Rhodes suddenly. The taxi which picked us up from the airport could not drop us at the property because the road is cobbled and too narrow for cars. This meant we had to walk for 15-20 minutes using Apple Maps on my phone to find the property. Lastly, there were no instructions for using the hob, microwave, etc. and no phone numbers for taxis, etc. We couldn’t watch anything on TV as it was all in Greek. We still enjoyed Rhodes but would not stay in Athina for the above reasons and as it is far too small although it looked much bigger in the photos online.
