Amazing for a family vacation with little kids

The house itself - amazing old villa with beautiful garden, the pool, the location close to the sea.

2 or 4 bedrooms have to air conditioner, just ceiling fans. We were a bit unlucky with hot, humid weather so some nights we wished all the rooms had air con.

Good location - walking distance to 2 different swimming spots in different directions. Nice pool that gets the afternoon sun and is well kept. Many bathrooms. Short walk to small supermarket and a few restaurants.

The listing says the house has air con - only 2 of the bedrooms have fans (that’s not air con), the other 2 don’t which made them very hot. There are several things that could be changed that would really improve the quality and enjoyment of stay: 1. Sheets that fit the bed 2. Providing decent sized bath towels rather than hand towel sized towels for all guests 3. Letting guests know via a guide/notes in the house important info about the house eg: important hot water switches 4. Toilets not flushing properly 5. No crockery, utensils or glassware in the main kitchen.

This villa is part of a gorgeous estate that is minutes away from an exquisite beach.

Photos don’t do this place justice. It’s really an estate with fruit trees, four patios, a pool, a view of the hills and the sea, a summer kitchen… the list goes on. Parts of the residence are as 600 years old so it feels very special to be welcomed into this home. It’s an absolute treasure. And everything necessary for modern comfort is in perfect shape. There were 7 of us and a baby, and it was so easy to have privacy and space. I have never seen as many butterflies as I have on this land!

Feel the spirit od VILLA KASTEL!

Villa Kastela is finely situated very close to the see. Medieval and mysterious castle is a good alternative for boring and obvious apartment or hotel. It’s old, it doesn’t have air conditioning in all rooms but I would definitely choose this place again!!!! Interior is really stylish and sophisticated indeed. There is an amazing swimming pool- place to play, have parties and sunbathe! You will find beautiful stone terraces there. If you like cook – you will fell in love with both kitchens. Take some Go there with friends and you won’t get bored!

But remember ! Don’t take too big suitcases – it will be hard to open them in bedrooms. In general don't expect that it is a 5-star hotel because is different and you have to be prepare for this.

Trevlig värd mötte oss, vi blev 3h sena med det var inga problem, Norra staranden och beachbaren

Pool duschen, poolbord hade varit trevligt, middagsbord på baksidan hadde varit trevligt.

Lokacija je odlična, manje od 5 minuta do najbliže plaže što je idealno za ljetni odmor. Kuća ima dosta prostora i sadržaja, bazen i biljar su nam lijepo ispunili vrijeme u kući. Vanjske tarace su odlične lokacije za uživati u hrani, kavi i čaši vina. Domaćini su prijateljski raspoloženi i bilo je lako za komunicirati s njima. Svake preporuke!
