Apartamento Walden

Séjourner au walden est tout simplement une expérience unique ! La vue de la terrasse de l appartement se situant au 14eme étage et la piscine sur le toit au 18eme ont des vues incroyables ! L appartement est décoré sobrement mais avec bcp de goûts. Le couples d hôtes est adorables !

Il faut savoir que l appartement est en banlieue de Barcelone à environ 50/55 minutes du centre historique . Mais le quartier est très bien desservi en transport ( tram , bus ).

This wonderful apartment has a kitchen/ living room, a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a small room that can be used for storage / drying towels or laundry. On the top of the building there is a swimming pool that can only be used by residents of the building, which is a very nice place to spend the afternoon on a hot day. Outside on the walkway, there is a little seating area. The apartment is very nice and clean and well equipped. In the kitchen you can find everything you need. It has a washing machine and a dishwasher (although the dishwasher is quite small, so if you like to do extensive cooking, the pans and dishes won't all fit in the dishwasher at once). The owners provide plenty of towels, so you can take a different towel to the swimming pool than you use for bathing. There are drying racks to dry the towels as well. The owners are very kind. They live next door. We arrived late, but we could still check in. They communicated very well and gave us tips for places to go to. The apartment is located in the iconic "Walden 7" building. This building is famous for its architecture. In the apartment you'll find lots of books about architecture and some of them feature this building. When you're in the building on a hot day, it feels cooler than outside, because the air can freely flow through the building. And inside the apartment, the airconditioning creates a very pleasant atmosphere. The apartment is located next to the supermarket. Also the tram and many buses stop right in front of the building. Thus, it was very easy to go to the city of Barcelona by public transport (do take in mind though that it still takes about 45 minutes to reach the city centre by public transport).

It was not possible to hang the shower anywhere: you have to hold it in your hand. The shower also doesn't have any screen or shower curtain, so you have to be careful not to spill water on the floor. You can rent a private parking place for an additional fee. However, the place is very narrow. We scraped our car on the pillar on our way out, and from seeing all the protective material on the pillars all around the parking garage, I think we were not the only ones having trouble with the narrow space. Maybe the owners can also put some protective material on the pillar of their parking spot, so other clumsy guests won't scrape their cars like we did.

Magnifique appartement avec une très belle vue et calme. Les équipements de l’appartement sont parfait et tout était propre. En bas de l’immeuble, il y a pleins de commerces. La gentillesse incroyable des propriétaires, ils ont la main sur le cœur. Si nous devons revenir à Barcelone, nous reviendrons sans hésiter dans le même appartement.

Ми дуже задоволені цим перебуванням в Барселоні, щиро вдячні Вам за допомогу та підтримку. Будинок розташований в передмісті Барселони, але дістатися до центру міста взагалі не проблема, дуже гарна транспортна розвʼязка.
