Damir as a host gave us a great first impression about the kindness and hospitality of the people in Sarajevo, which was proven to be true through his clear and quick communication, friendliness, and willingness to provide an overall comfortable and pleasant experience. The apartment in itself was well organized and prepared for us, the same can be said about getting access to the apartment keys. The cleanliness and sanitation were beyond a 10/10 rating! The apartment location was practically perfect since one can reach the city center/old district within 10 minutes of walking distance yet also isolated from any noise/distractions that could come up at night.

There were a couple of downsides, in our personal experience, about our stay. One is the placement of the mattresses underneath the inclined ceiling which was a bit uncomfortable because somewhat that limited the sleeping space. This placement of the mattresses also made us feel the coldness of the weather at night. Secondly, and this can be regarded purely as a recommendation, the bathroom could use a better form of ventilation since steam builds up easily after a warm shower.
