Quiet location, but close to the city Good size of the rooms
not a welcoming place, although the facilities have a lot of potential and could offer much more lack of proper welcome to guests no real restaurant facilities, no other food service between meal hours, no drinks available between meals

Our stay at Pensiunea Iza really exceeded our expectations. We found it by pure chance as we were travelling through Maramures towards the Merry Cemetery and decided to spend the night in the area. Pensiunea Iza had availability for our family of 5 (2A, 3C, the photos looked promising and the price was extremely competitive (breakfast included). We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and size of the room and our host was so lovely, accommodating and attentive. The inner yard was a really good place for our kids to play and while we did not use the BBQ facilities, it was such a nice touch for people to be able to do that. We would 100% recommend this place, even if for just an overnight stay.
