We really enjoyed our stay at The Mount Sierra in Gardens, Cape Town. Its central location made it easy to explore the city, including the famous Kloof Street with its bars and restaurants. The secure parking gave us peace of mind, and the heated pool was perfect — even our baby could enjoy a dip! The rooms offered gorgeous views of Table Mountain, and the staff were warm, accommodating, and helpful. The well-equipped kitchen was also a great convenience.
The only small issues were around privacy and comfort: the pool area could benefit from more privacy, perhaps with misting on the lower part of the windows, and the pool room itself felt quite hot — better ventilation would help. The TV channels were limited and it wasn’t always clear what program was on. Finally, a bathtub in the rooms would make bathing a baby easier. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely stay here again!
