An outstandingly good guest house. First class facilities combined with friendly and efficient staff. Lydia the manager was excellent, giving us a very warm welcome and helping us with our luggage. The dinner and breakfast were superb and the catering staff were wonderful. Avalon is truly outstanding- one of the very best places we have stayed in our 2000 km trip.

Very modern and clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Convenient location and good value.
I didn't see any fruit at breakfast. The dinner offering was limited to chicken. Not a problem for me though as restaurants are minutes away.
