1 Licorna Beach

The property is literally by the beach. The three bedrooms, which are all upstairs, all have smart TVs - although a downside was that the WiFi connection upstairs was poor to non-existent. The apartment is fully kitted with modern finishings. There is a daily cleaning service, which we appreciated very much. The host, Wendy, is warm and responsive. I love the rules - no noise and house parties - this is good. The place was really great. A heads up that the owner prefers to be paid directly into their bank account prior to check-in. Only minor snags, which I have described under the "What I didn't like" section below.

The WiFi connection is poor to non-existent upstairs. Kindly put in a WiFi extender upstairs to improve quality of WiFi. It would also help if the bedroom windows were tinted or if they could put in lace curtains. Otherwise, due to the proximity of the unit to the beach walkway - people walking past can see into all the rooms. Please could you also fit in a hand towel rail in the master bathroom? There were several items that were broken when we arrived (eg. towel rail in guest toilet downstairs broken, most door handles were loose, window missing handle altogether, panel in second bathroom drawers missing) and after reporting them to the property, they promised to have them fixed. By the time we checked out, those items were not yet fixed. I hope the property owner will address this for the next guests, because I will come back here to the reviews to see if they have fixed those items before booking again. I would love to return. It is an excellent property and the host is great - she is responsive to communication and I appreciated that.

They take too long to refund the R2999, the dishwasher was not working, and the griller.

Location was best. And the garden was super perfect.
