Best part of our 3.5 week holiday with our teenage daughters - definitely recommend!

Rolled out of bed into hammock with sea views. Walked 10 steps to restaurant - great food options Thai/French - everything was delicious and good size/value for money. Rooms air conditioned with electric hot water showers that had great water pressure. So quiet and relaxed. Family run business - they were helpful and attentive - drove us down the road to motorcycles when all theirs were booked out. Honestly this place was the highlight of our 3.5 week holiday.

There is a nightclub on Fri/Sat night with drum and bass - we put earplugs in and slept through it.

Don't expect luxury, but heartfelt relaxation.

A great place, and a great staff. The owners and the staff will do anything to help you . Lovely beach, cozy primitive bungalows. It's not a luxury place, but a great comfy place, with what you need. We went with our two kids, and rented two bngalows near the beach. Our kids are 14 and 9, and they loved it. The food is nice, and you feel like your visisting one big family. The little reef is a great spot for snorkeling with younger kids - lots of small colourful fish. Remember bathing shoes, since its quite stoney ground during lowtide.

Be aware of the partyplace next door. Our owner had warned us, so its not a real complaint, just remember to bring your earplugs for saturday nights. Othervise nothing to complain about. It's a great place, and we will return in the future.

Good value, excellent location, good staff

I loved this location right on the beach. The owner and staff are amazing - great restaurant too. The bungalows are cozy - they are really all you need if you are not fussy.

As mentioned and as you are warned the bar next door is loud until late at night. I was able to cancel out the noise playing white noise on a Bluetooth though.

I enjoyed it other than the cleaning

Staff were friendly and it’s in a great location. It’s very relaxed which I like.

We struggled to get clean towels and a room freshened up because Everytime I put make room up sign on door they would take it off and not do anything.

Oké place, nice people but for 10€ more you have more comfort at the neighbours

Location was great, also the balcony was really nice with a hammock and shower to get the sand of your feet. The staff was kind and helped you with any question. We wanted extra sheeds, was in 1 minute there. Also we got Coffee en water in the morning and the staf greets you with a smile everytime you go or come back.

The room was perfect in size, The beds were unfortunately very uncomfortable, with the metal springs poking you. The shower was nice and hot, but the jets were so strong that you could barely enjoy the cleansing. Our room was next to the wachingmachine room ( i guess) because at 06:00 in the morning our house was trilling in a certain beat. We also stayed at new andaman bay, 5 meters further but the differences where uge. The food in the restaurant is tasty, but the portions are very small for a lot of money. If you go two restaurants away, you get double the price for less, and it's also much tastier. So for staff and location a go. For bed and shower its a no for me.

*view was of reception. Could not change without closing curtain. Hard to reach given the very small space to squeeze beside far side of bed. The local bar is EXCEPTIONALLY LOUD. Everything in room shaking with the bass. Ear plugs did not help. Noise went on until 3:40 am. No bungalow staff to discuss with. Next day was told I could have messaged and shown my conversation with the host. I apologised, later looked at my phone and had never received the messages. So the conversation had been initiated prior to going. I had never received somehow and the host did not think to check. 1ft plus drop into bathroom. Sloping floor was significant, actually uneasy to stand on having a shower. The shower was cold, was told I should have reported this, was leaving early anyhow so seemed a moot point to me. Very disappointing.

Amazing location, bare minimum accommodation

The location is prime. You’re literally on a beautiful beach. The bungalow has most amenities you could need.

As expected (and anticipated), it was loud at night (even during the non party nights) The bungalow has very thin walls and ours lacked of windows. We just had shades, so it was either fully closed or fully open. The bed was not comfortable.

Picturesque, affordable and good food

The location directly on the beach is excellent; you can either sit in the restaurant/bar or relax at a small table or in a hammock on the bungalow terrace. The front bungalows are right on the beach and have a fantastic view of the ocean and the beach scenery. We were there in August, and the resort and the fine sandy beach (be careful, there are nasty rocks in the water!) were practically deserted. The food in the restaurant (covered or, if you prefer, directly on the beach with a view of the sunset) is excellent, and the staff (as is almost always the case in Thailand) is very friendly and helpful. Very good value for money (mind you, this is the off-season!). On the main street, within walking distance, there is a wide selection of breakfast places, restaurants, and all kinds of shops and exchange offices.

The furnishings and condition of the bungalows are a bit dated and the cleanliness is not excessive, but everything is still within limits.

You get what you pay for

I liked Relax Bay where the property is located on the beach. There is a mini mart and a number of good restaurants within walking distance.

Poorly maintained bungalows and surrounds, bed bugs and vermin, heaps of garbage piled up, general lack of cleanliness, poor to non-existent service (e.g. room only cleaned when requested), poor management & coordination and on at least one occasion money being stolen from rooms.

New Andaman Bay Bungalows

I had a beachfront bungalow and the view was absolutely amazing! Staff was very friendly and helpful and made you feel at home. The bed was really comfortable, with a mosquito net and a fan as well. The bungalow also had a minibar fridge. The food was great and we also had a BBQ on the beach, organized by the amazing staff!

Fresh air clean simple bungalows, very cozy, nice nature sounds around.

Bit complicated to find the way in dark, as we came by our own motorbikes. May be more corner signs on small roads needed. But it's not a big problem. What I really didn't like, the staff asked us to leave bungalo at 10am because!!!! other people want to check in!!!! When I asked can we leave in one hour, they told now better. Mind, here on site check out sign is 11.30, check in 14.00.In hotel check out is written 11.00 They asked us, because we anyway!!! are sitting on the beach (but we were swimming and wanted to take shower before check out). It's a small thing but made me feel really uncomfortable! Because it's +35 C outside and I try to plan hot time. And when we left the room and stayed at the beach some more time, noone even started cleaning the room. What for to ask us leave earlier?!

Viernes y sábado los bares de al lado se transforman en disco y la musica suena fuertisimo hasta la madrugada. Todos los bungalows deberían tener aire acondicionado. Hace mucho calor

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt

Die Anlage ist zwar etwas abgelegen, dafür an traumhafter Lage direkt am Meer. Ohne Luxus aber alles Nötige ist vorhanden und man kann sich wunderbar erholen, weitweg vom Rummel und Lärm. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind spektakulär. Mit Tuc Tuc, Taxi oder Roller kann man sich gut fortbewegen. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und das Essen schmeckt wirklich gut, ausserdem ist das Angebot vielseitig. Am Strand entlang hat es zudem noch andere hübsche Strand Restaurants. Freitag und Samstag hat die Bar nebenan Party, da geht die Post ab aber wenn man müde ist, lässt sich trotzdem schlafen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt

Bungalows bem conseguidos. Confortavel, com frigorbar, AC, vedado contra insetos, torneira na entrada para retirar areias e vassoura para areias do alojamento. Ficamos em alguns bungalows e este foi o melhor. Funcionários e dono super prestáveis. Optimo para local para relaxar.

Festas às sextas e sabados nos bares ao redor (principalmente ao sabado porque é no bar mesmo ao lado) embora já tivessemos conhecimento da existencia das mesmas. Mas efetivamente "estraga" a qualidade/relaxamento do local nesses dias.

Un enchantement de sérénité à préserver!!

Le charme de l’ensemble dès notre arrivée, un havre de paix ,avec la vie des locaux à coté, que les propriétaires partagent. On se sent comme dans une famille . Le personnel s’implique très bien dans leur travail avec sourire et discrétion . Maintenant il faut dire bravo à la propriétaire, l’épouse de Ben , qui nous a fait une cuisine exceptionnelle, galettes bretonnes gourmandes, son curry vert le meilleur que j’ai goûté depuis 10 ans et la baguette de pain sur commande ,une belle surprise.Les bungalows très typiques sont très bien dans cette harmonie paisible le matin ,et aussi bien romantique le soir .

Les râleurs , pour rien , qui ne savent pas apprécier la valeur de ce lieux…

C'est un cocon dans un coin de paradis. Ben, sa femme et leur équipe vous font vous sentir comme à la maison. L'emplacement est parfait avec accès à la plage, les cabanons sont super et le hamac royal. Bravo pour cet endroit Ben. Je reviens dès que possible 👌🏻

Uns hat sehr gut gefallen das die Bungalows direkt am Strand waren. Auch das kleine Restaurant des Hotels liegt direkt am Strand mit Blick aufs Meer. Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb deshalb sind Roller schon von Vorteil oder man nimmt sich ein Taxi. Es gibt aber auch die Ein oder Andere Bar/Restaurant direkt am Strand des Hotels. Die Bungalows sind Recht spartanisch eingerichtet,aber für uns vollkommen ausreichend für die Zwei Nächte. Die klene Terrasse vor dem Bungalow mit Hängematte lädt zum verweilen ein.
