Appartement super central, grand, propre. Top pour le check-in tardif en soirée. Parking disponible (un peu étroit 😂).Accepte les animaux. Possibilité de louer des draps. Wifi. Personnel gentil, serviable et à l'écoute. Addresse parmis mes favoris.

Quelques petits bémols: 1/un ventilateur supplémentaire aurait été top pendant ces fortes chaleurs.. 2/porte de l'immeuble non sécurisée et accessible à n'importe qui.

A lot of stairs to climb

The location was central to Honfleur, close to shops, harbour and cafes. Parking available for a reasonable cost.

Difficulty getting hold of the host. He had given us instructions on meeting a person to go through the keys parking etc. However when we got there we could not find the person. After trying bot her number and the hosts number he told us she was awaiting us at the meet address. When we returned there it was an alleyway we had to go down. Payment for the sheets, towels and parking had to be paid in cash ideally the correct amount - luckily we were able to do this between us. Once at the accommodation there were 4 flights of narrow wooden spiral stairs (56 steps) making it difficult to get our luggage up. The property and communal stair case appeared very rundown. The apartment was entered by a door at the base of the stairs on the 3rd floor, so door open onto a further staircase. In the apartment there was a step to each bedroom, bathroom and kitchen with no marker tape. 2 of our party missed the step coming out of the bedroom. In one bedroom there were loose wires coming out of the wall with a hand written note stuck above it saying 'do not touch'. There were no curtains to windows in kitchen and lounge. It was extremely hot whilst at Honfleur but we could not shut out the sun, so stiflingly hot in the afternoons. The decor was very dated, paint was coming off the wall in places, there was a large stain to the sofa cushion. There were 6 glasses and mugs but none of them matched and some were chipped. There was minimal clothing storage. Crates by the bed in one room with a side table and 2 coat hangers, the other room had baskets by the bed and a metal frame hanging rail again only a couple of hangers.
