Wonderful experience!

Everything was first class! The room was large, beautifully decorated in a traditional farm house style, and very comfortable. The location is perfect. It is located in a small hamlet, Bastia, but very accessible to the main road and very near to the town of Albenga, with its lovely historic centre. From here you can explore the whole area very easily – Alassio, Cerva, Noli, Finale Ligure and so many more beautiful places. But what really sets it apart is the welcome that you receive from the whole family. They were so warm and inviting and really made us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious. Everything is home grown, organic and utterly delightful. If you have the chance, we would also definitely recommend dining at the restaurant run by the family, Rene’s. The food was superb! As was the wine. We had the Granaccia with dinner and it was so good that we have bought a bottle, along with a bottle of the Pigato to bring home, which we are looking forward to trying this weekend! It was truly a wonderful experience and we would definitely recommend it. Thank you to all the family! We hope to be back soon 😊

Perfect location and friendly staff

Great place and close to Albenga and other towns. Family was so nice and helpful. Apartment was great for a family of 6. The town the the BioVio is in very friendly.

- clean accommodation - very good breakfast - very friendly staff at breakfast - quiet location - well equipped kitchen in the apartment

- Apartment was very gloomy - bed was very bad, one mattress was very worn out (you were practically lying on the grate, either bad quality or worn out), the other mattress in the same bed was much better - at check in we were processed quickly, there were hardly any tips, as others wrote - Wifi was very bad - communication in advance was difficult, we received answers very late and questions were hardly answered - the restaurant was closed and unfortunately we couldn't eat there, there are hardly any other restaurant options in the area (which were open) - you have to rely on your car - Balcony at the apartment is not really a balcony, but more in a courtyard (without a view or sunlight)

Very warm welcome and services during the stay. Once you enter the reception area, which is also the owner's kitchen with the guest breakfast table, you feel like you come back to your grand parent's home. The apartment is very spacy and clean.

Italian charm and authenticity at its vety best.

I do not believe I have experienced a better stay in my lifetime. The breakfast was amazingly diverse...it was literally a heavenly buffet served with a smile in their quaint kitchen. Everything homemade and wonderful! The rooms were clean, comfortable and cozy with Italian charm to boot. Lovely. Just lovely.

WOW, we lived above the wine pressing room, and holding vats.. with awesome staff..

Staff location easy parking no drama check in, freezer fridge, so quite that it wakes you up to make sure you are still on Earth!

You need a car to go for that dinner, only 2 restaurants and one was ceiling high with prices, But I pack for this circumstance, you should too!

Great place to stay! Friendly staff and great wines

This is very nice place to stay. The owner has an eye for details and are super friendly. The location is close to the Autobahn so just a few minutes and you are there. The breakfast was fantastic with many home made stuff.

It’s nothing the owners can do about it, but the room we had faced direction Autobahn and with the wind from the north you could hear the autobahn. Also the mattress in our room was not perfect, still I slept well!!

The apartment was a bit bare, it could be a little more comfortable and the kitchen could be better equipped.

Superb

This is a wonderful family that do everything from the heart. Authentic, comfortable and friendly with lovely plants and decorations. The Breakfast is all home made with products from the families garden etc. Location is 5 minute drive into Albenga and the Beach, but the accommodation is in an independent small village itself with basic facilities restaurant etc. and quiet.

A bit off the city/sea, but you may feel at home

The building is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. We also enjoyed the terrace and the local products (peaches, wine, olive oil) that we could buy from the hosts.

The shower cabin was too small. There is no air conditioning and the ventilator provided did not work. Fortunately it was not too hot those days when we stayed there.

Stile e gusto

Struttura restaurata con stile e pulitissima, proprietari gentili e disponibil. Ottima la colazione così come la degustazione dei vini bio prodotti dai proprietari. Parcheggio comodo a due passi dalla struttura.

Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto apprezzare la cucina del ristorante collegato alla struttura perchè chiuso nei giorni della nostra permanenza. Credo che sarebbe stata un'ottima esperienza, viste la passione e l'attenzione della famiglia Vio nella cura dei prodotti e della cultura del territorio. Ci hanno comunque consigliato ottimi ristoranti nei dintorni.

Bellissimo soggiorno in un luogo tipico e genuino, da ritornarci

Ottima colazione servita con stile e simpatia, prodotti di qualità km0, bagni con marmo, camere spaziose.

I letti sono di buona qualità, materassi in memory, ma per i nostri gusti un po’ duri. Un topper di 5/6 cm potrebbe migliorare questo aspetto del comfort per ospiti che, come noi, preferiscono un materasso un po’ più morbido. Per me una camera-apartamento deve inoltre avere almeno una poltroncina. Ogni camera ha 4 sedie di legno per mangiare ma per un momento di relax solo il letto.

Séjour agréable et authentique

Hébergement dans un lieu authentique, avec toutes les facilités. Le village se situe à moins de 3 km d'Albenga, facilement accessible en voiture, avec possibilité de parking gratuit, à vélo voire à pied. Le centre historique est très intéressant, sans surfréquentation. Accès à Alassio possible également en randonnée (5 km) par la très agréable Via Julia Augusta ou en train. Très bon accueil, les hôtes proposant de plus de très bonnes dégustations de leurs produits, vins et olives... Petit déjeuner de très bonne qualité, servi sur une terrasse agréable.

Wat een fantastische plek! Het personeel is super vriendelijk, het ontbijt is heerlijk, het appartement is groot en het bed ligt heerlijk. Het appartement ligt net buiten het centrum van Albenga, wat de plek rustig maakt en je mag hun fietsen gebruiken! Als gast krijg je ook een rondleiding en wijnproeverij! Verder is er ook een restaurant bij, zorg dat je hier een reservering hebt!!
