Well refurbished, kept warm all day and night with the heating, well-equipped and in a good location. Great communication with the host too. A good value for money overall, I recommend it, a good host.
It was a bit dark but that's most of Venice as the cobbled streets are very narrow and not much light comes through the windows. Also, no terrace / outdoor space but not an issue for the price. Rubbish disposal wasn't easy either, but again, that's the city rules, not a fault of the host.

Very cute place, that would be great for a family or a group of up to 6 that were visiting Venice for an extended stay. Kitchen was large enough that you could easily prepare meals and enjoy at the large dining room table. The rooms were spacious and there was lots of storage space. There was an adorable balcony at the very top of the unit (view was of other buildings- but that just Venice for you) that would be a great place to enjoy an aperitif before heading back to the heart of the city. It was a very short walk from the Arsenal Water Bus stop where you can grab a pastry/coffee in the morning. It is very walkable to Piazza San Marco. In the military district, which feels full of history! You walk through many small streets on the way to the unit, so if feels like you get to "get lost" in the city, while still feeling safe. There is a cute restaurant right around the corner. It is vey close to the more "local feeling" Via Giuseppe Garibaldi that had many bars/restaurants.
Soundproofing is almost non-existent. The doors to the unit and adjourning units were incredibly loud (you have to slam them shut) and you can basically hear the neighbors conversations. I think it would be tough to have young kids here if they are sensitive to noise.
The floating glass staircase is a bit disconcerting. One of the very bottom treads has some "give" to it and squeaks a bit when you step on it... it does seem possible that it may break. There is a tape covering on all the stairs that is peeling a bit on the edges, no safety concern there, but it does keep it from looking as stunning as it could (3 levels of floating glass stairs).

A mio parere vanno sostituiti i cuscini e le camere andrebbero dotate di due cuscini aggiuntivi. Per quanto riguarda la pulizia suggerisco una maggior attenzione.
