The Decks Bali

Great spot not too far from anything. Private pool was great

Air conditioning was turned off when villa was serviced which made it very hot and stuffy to return to.

I stayed with my family the night before my flight as it was close to the airport. We all loved the lay out with a traditional open air communal space in the centre . My little Granddaughter loved it ,we all did. The en suite bathroom was beautiful and luxurious. The beds and bedding pristine and comfortable. I loved the pool area ,there have been comments that the pool was too deep but for me it was great to have a proper swim . The vibe was a mix of traditional and minimalist which worked very well . The villa was completely silent other than from the sound of the birds ,this was heaven after a month of dogs ,bikes ,building works. The lovely young man on reception was very helpful .He allowed us a late check out free of charge and made sure we had everything we needed. I had paid for breakfast which was amazing . Another lovely young man knocked quietly and within minutes had set up our breakfast table with fresh fruit ,juice ,coffee and our chosen options .Breakfast was very good value for what we had . I will be returning to Bali in 6 months and intend to book The Decks again . A big Thankyou to the staff there who were absolutely first class .

The pool area and decking needs some maintenance there are a few chipped tiles and the decking is old and a bit splintery . The pool itself could have done with a bit of a clean . These were not major problems for me but if you had a couple of small children then I could see it wouldn’t be ideal . This would not stop me from returning.
