Great in every aspect, but mouldy.

The property is absolutely beautiful and has great stuff

Unfortunately, the whole property got infestated with mould since my last stay 10 years ago. I am sensitive to the smell and worried about the health effects, so had to leave after one night.

Just beautiful

The setting of KTS Villas is so beautiful. There are tropical gardens, rice paddies, vegetable gardens, bee hives and two beautiful pools that we walked past to get to our rooms. Every day this was a delight. The rooms we large and very tastefully decorated. The staff were all lovely. Everything worked well. Good water pressure and hot water.

There was a bit of 'Up Sell' happening. There were signs in the rooms, around the hotel and on the menus selling spa and tours. The staff, at least initially, would ask us if we wanted to go somewhere or have a service. I really want hotels to be a respite from touts. There weren't too many other restaurants or cafes within walking distance. Transport would be useful if staying here.

Fantastic stay.

What can you say about KTS. A peaceful retreat amongst the chaos. From the warm greeting we received at 3 am when we checked in 4 hours late (due to power failures at the airport),to the smiles and the ever present and helpful staff. From the hand written note from Virginia welcoming us and assuring us that if anything was required we could call her at anytime, to the friendly chats with the owner Andre. This is a must stay. You can take a relaxing walk through the amazing rice fields, relax beside a peaceful Koi pond or sweat up a bit in the gym. KTS has it all. The cooking class is a must do and the massage at the onsite spa was wonderful. Set aside a few days from the "other" Bali and relax and regenerate here.

Cooking Classes, Friendly Staff, and Adorable Animals

Staying here was a lot of fun! We took part in many activities, including a cooking class that was fantastic. The staff is super friendly, young, and always ready to make the experience even more enjoyable. Plus, the place is home to many curious and interesting little animals that make the stay even more special, I’ll leave you with a few surprises to discover! Definitely an experience worth trying!

Warmth and Kindness from the Staff

I had such a lovely stay at KTS! A big thank you to Virginia, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived — and to Andre as well. They’re both absolute gems. They took the time to chat with me, made me feel at home, and even helped me take some great pictures. Every time they cleaned my room, they’d leave sweet little touches like towel arrangements or thoughtful gestures — it really made a difference. I also had the chance to chat with other staff members and everyone was genuinely kind and warm. Thank you Andre and Virginia, you’re both fantastic! The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. It feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by nature. The location is a little further from the main buzz, so you’ll need proper transportation — either rent a scooter or use Grab, which works really well in the area.

As for downsides — nothing major. There were a couple of stains on the bedsheets when I arrived, but as soon as I mentioned it, the staff kindly changed everything right away. One small thing: there was some construction work happening late at night, which made it a bit hard to sleep for early birds like me. It would be great if that could stop earlier in the evening.

KTS is an amazing place to stay if you want to be at one with nature, immersed in the trees and rice fields with wooden architecture. The room was stunning and Virginia and Andre always made my bed so beautifully with decorations like Winnie the Pooh made from leaves. All of the staff are so welcoming and kind and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is exceptional. The owner Sudi has built a wonderful place and supports the professional development of young Balinese people which is brilliant to be part of. I highly recommend staying here to anyone - away from the crazy traffic of canggu and into nature with an authentic Balinese experience. 10/10!! You won’t regret it!

Serenity in Canggu! Definitely recommend this place, and will definitely come back here again!

The staff were helpful, polite, and courteous. Ayuk, Hani, and others were trying to assist me with every query i got all the time. Food in their restaurant is good, especially loved fresh whole coconuts, great coffee, and a good breakfast. My room was great and cozy. Definitely, need to express gratitude to the wonderful staff. They offer such things as spa packages, balinese food cooking classes, yoga, palm reading sessions, and other activies which made this place even more special to me. Territory itself reminded me of garden of Thanos, everything looked spectacular.

Wi-Fi in my room simply did not work. I can not blame anyone for this, however, i was staying there partly for leisure and partly for remote job and lack of stable Wi-Fi connection was a bit upsetting. Despite that I did not want to burden anyone and used personal hotspot from my phone. Another issue was probably the sawdust that was falling constantly in the kitchen area. I could not quite get what was the cause but it made me clean the bar table every 20-30 minutes because that was my work desk. Air Conditioning was only in my bedroom which i didn't mind, but the cooling lasts only for 10-20 minutes, after that it was just pure dry air which would make me wake up in the middle of the night.

Serene Escape, Needs to fulfil promise of high speed internet

Everything was 10/10 except the WiFi. The listing said high speed internet which was why I made the booking only to discover 6Mbs download speed so I had to find a Coworking space to do my zoom meetings for work. If here for leisure, this place is perfect. I wish the WiFi could be actually high speed and I’ll stay here Longer. The place is so serene

An authentic Bali HAVEN!

Heaven on earth 🙏🏼 I could not rate this place highly enough. I genuinely cried when I was shown round as it was so beautiful, I am told this is not an uncommon reaction amongst Westerners! I came as a solo traveller, and left with the staff feeling like family, they looked after me so well. Owners Sudi and Lilik have mastered this. Subi had a vision to make this place an authentic slice of Bali, and it is certainly this. In every single corner there is beauty. Lots of Balinese wood, water, a rice paddy and beautiful plants and flowers. I want to tell the world about this wonderful place. Special thank you to Sudi, Lilik, Mira, Wira, Veia, Hani, Muri, Buki, Andre, Laxmi, Tamara and the whole team. I shall definitely return, KTS Villas has a special place in my heart ❤️

Amazing staff, like to meet them again!

Location, just outside the busy area Staff: Ayuk, Vria, Tamara, Virginia and André are really customerfocused! The “villa” is nice, Indonesian style

Dont include the breakfast! The inclusion is poor and expensive compared going outisde. We got a good price but that was still a little high. Have been to better places with fabulous breakfest for a much cheaper price.

Authentic paradise outside the busy city.

This place has an amazing authentic character. We're travelling through Bali so far nothing compares. We've stayed in overly luxurious places, yet we keep thinking back about this place. The massages were amazing. Sitting in the yoga location in the morning for meditation watching people working in the rice field. Playing with the dogs and cats around the place was fun. It feels like you're part of a family.

So relaxing. Great rooms and great setup. Staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. Little oasis near Canngu where you can get away from everything.

Good for leisure, not good for work (as there was no desk), not good for those who are afraid of mosquitos

The staff there were really amazing. They are the best people for sure. The food at their restaurant was amazing too. However, there was no desk suitable for working on a laptop as it was in the picture on Booking.com. Also I didn’t like that the bathroom wasn’t fully indoors. It was open for mosquitos and other insects to come in any time. When I checked in there was no lighter to burn the anti mosquito sticks. So, I ended up at the bathroom full of mosquitos. And got a few mosquito bites. This isn’t good especially after you had dengue a month ago. So, I felt pretty anxious during my stay because of the mosquitos. Even though anti mosquito spray was provided, it wasn’t enough to protect me while I was in the bathroom. Other than that it’s ab extremely beautiful place with very lovely staff.

Beautiful, wild and welcoming

The staff were extremely accommodating. We were a little late to breakfast but this was no problem for them. They always wanted to help. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were spacious. It was good value for money.

The dogs and cats would surround you when you ate dinner and they were in the kitchen area. The doors had gaps in which meant creatures could get into the rooms. The pool by the bar was off limits.

Beautiful gardens, very relaxing. Staff Ayac, Coma were very helpful and friendly. A morning Yoga class with Lily looking out over water feature and beautiful garden was a beautiful start to my day ❤️

Beautiful little oasis!

The staff were so so friendly and helpful. The villa is gorgeous, you really feel surrounded by nature. We loved the frog theme! Room was beautiful, clean and comfy with air con. It was a perfect first stop to get over our jet lag!

Unfortunately whilst we were the there both pools were under maintenance so we didn't get to use them.

Absolutely everything. It was like being back to the "old Bali" before it got invaded by modern tourism. I love the room, the staff, the food, the facilities, the comfort...... literally everything. KTS has amazing food, so reasonable, and so fresh and delicious. When we were out and about, and visited other restaurants, we often decided to head back to the hotel for the special KTS Balinese treat. Fresh coconut whenever you need one. FAB!! The room, the gym, the pools, the garden, the food, the massage.....all perfect!! The Bali Massage by ibu Laksmi...... oh.... I wish I could stay there for another month, the best massage ever. Thank you so much ibu Laksmi!!! All the staff were super kind and friendly. WE HOPE TO COME BACK AGAIN SOON AND STAY LONGER!!

Atmosphere and staff were excellent. Rooms that were authentic, not concrete villas as most places these days. Classes offered.

Perfect start to our holiday

We loved everything about our 2 night stay at the land of the frogs. From the welcome drink on arrival, the beautiful authentic gardens, the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff, the quality of the furnishings in the rooms, to the attention to detail and service with a smile with every aspect of our stay. Fantastic

We selected KTS Balinese Villas in hundreds of alternatives. When we arrived to the KTS we are welcomed like the most valuable visitors. All the personnel are incredibly hospitable and we felt like we are in our second honeymoon. Each of the personnel spend their times with us one by one for our comfort. The place gives you clean and clear amenities that we loved. The bungalow and spa and rice tracers and yoga platform and pools and atmosphere was fantastic. We are thankful especially to Mr Agus Sarita because the owner of the facility Mr Sudi Artawan is the best teacher how to behave to the visitors. We will come back to KTS again soon with our pleasure.

Wonderful, quiet and beautiful! We had the best time at KTS Bali

The atmosphere is rustic and quiet, but the location is close enough to the beach if you want to surf. It was super safe; the staff were incredible and made us feel welcome. The service was outstanding. Prices were very reasonable and all for a good cause. Mr Sudi runs a hospitality foundation associated with KTS Bali and so it was wonderful to help teach and speak English to his fledgling staff. We loved every moment of it and very much will go back.

absolutely beautiful, still close to town center; tucked away on this beautiful property. amazing staff so friendly, and truly the sweetest people I have ever met. the villa was beautiful and spacious. it was so nice having a section of the bathroom outside and plants everywhere! very natural, beautiful, peaceful, and full of nature. the pools were very clean, accompanied by lounge chairs and towels. I will be back. it was truly beautiful, oh and how could I forget the spa…. let me tell you it was amazing!
