Beautiful property, great staff and very relaxing.

This was such a lovely property and at the price I received, it was well above my expectations. The property itself its beautifully furnished and have a refreshing bright white that just puts you in a good mood. The bedroom was lovely and the bed very comfortable with neutral colours, crisp clean sheets, plush pillows and quite comfortable mattress. The bathroom was huge, probably could have done with some more plants but still lovely and the sitting area was nice to get some work done. The free breakfast was tasty and they happily made the adjustments that i asked for. The staff are super attentive and friendly, always available to assist with anything you need. I really wanted to do some Yoga so they provided me with a Yoga mat, blocks and bolster to use in my room as I please which I thought was a great touch. The pool is beautiful, although I didn't take a swim because it was raining fairly heavily. Hopefully next time! All in all, at the price I paid (around $110 AUD a night), it was a great place to stay and not only would I recommend it but I am returning for a few more nights before I leave but in a different room.

I stayed in the room with a large balcony. I probably wouldn't choose that room again because there was a little construction noise and the view was directly to the building being constructed which the other rooms don't seem to have. There was also a puppy barking all day but that didn't really bother me.

Beautiful environment, super friendly staff, excellent breakfast, all-day long free coffee and tea in a lobby. Pool has a nice temperature.

The King Suite can not completely close (has an opened living area and also bathroom in first floor, above reception), there is a closed separate bedroom (good) but one can close the living area and bathroom just by curtains which does not secure enough privacy and also for evening, mosquitos and warm living area were not a best fit for my preference. But staff was very friendly to assist me in changing a room and everything was excellent.

Oasis in Bali found!

The property is exceptional! So much love has gone into every detail and it feels like a home away from home when you’re there. The design and finishes are beautifully executed and the venue is so peaceful. Staff are friendly and wonderful!

Beautiful hotel and great staff

The staff were great. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. It is great value for money. We definitely recommend booking one of the pool view rooms.

They only provide one key per room which is challenging for 2 guests but we were able to make it work with assistance from the staff.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in!! It’s a beautiful aesthetic throughout the whole of the hotel and the room. Great care and attention to details has been shown throughout. We felt very at home here. The staff were super attentive, fast to response and very helpful with advice on anything. The pool and spa area are perfect for relaxing during the day with many comfortable areas to lounge. Breakfast was served every morning with the staff asking what we want and at what time making it easy and flexible. The food was delicious and extras were priced very reasonably. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone, what a perfect way to start our holiday in Bali.

Best value for money ever

The staff is absolutely incredible. The design is so beautiful, the room is so spacious, the bed is super comfortable, highest value for money ever. The breakfast was delicious, Escorial the avocado toast with poached eggs.

Not much in walking distance (but that’s normal in Canggu, so not the property’s fault), I would make a minor suggest to be a full 5 star hotel to provide body lotion and cottons/cotton tips in the rooms, like a vanity kit :)

A quiet private retreat for those seeking an escape from the city life!

Very tastefully decorated and spacious. However, if someone requires a dark room to sleep in, you won’t find it here so bring an eye mask. The staff were lovely and extremely polite and helpful. They allowed an early check-in as it was so quiet. We practically had the entire space to ourselves. There were only 9 rooms at this hotel so very boutique style stay.

The breakfast menu was limited to a handful of options. We had paid for breakfast as part of the room booking not realizing that we are limited to 1 item per person (vs. a buffet style option). There was not a single TV on this premises which would have been a nice option on those rainy days when we were unable to venture out.

My favourite hotel in Bali

I absolutely love hotel sages, it is one of my favourite hotels ever!! It is so beautiful and peaceful. So many cute photo nooks, perfect tanning by the pool and a cold plunge & sauna. The delicious food by the pool means you really don’t have to leave! Tried the massage and flower bath this time as well and that was so relaxing! Absolutely all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Always happy and smiling, they make the stay that much better! I cannot do a Bali trip without staying at hotel sages. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Really enjoyable

The Hotel Sages was everything I expected it to be. It is so beautiful! The decoration is nicely done whether it is in the common areas or in the rooms. The rooms are very clean and spacious and the bed is comfortable. The cleaning is done every day which is very much appreciated. The service was top tier ! Rai and Ria were so nice and helpful with each of my demands and questions. They were pro active in making sure I was feeling comfortable in the hotel and were very professional. The hotel proposes several activities, excursions and spa treatments to choose from which were enjoyable. I fully recommend this hotel.

The Aesthetics, the while bohemian like vibe - it felt super unique yet cozy! The Jacuzzi and Pool were super cool, spacious and well lit rooms, great for photos - very instagrammable! Friendly and swiftly responding staff!

Some snacks in the minibar were expired few months ago. The water supply was not stable and we had to complain twice to them to fix it. Breakfast options were too simple and limited. Not a deal breaker, but would expect small details like this to be rectified when booking a property at this price point!

I liked the location, as it was a little bit out of the centre - maybe a ten to fifteen minute bike ride to the main hustle and bustle. The hotel itself was pretty much how the photos had depicted.

We had to get our sheets changed immediately as we noticed some were not as clean, however, the staff were extremely helpful and cleaned them within minutes.

Beautiful and tranquil.

The design, how calm it was.

The pool should be cleaned each morning. Always leaves and debris in it. Just a quick scoop up would be nice. The toilets being on a septic tank system is such a shame. I spent the whole time worried I would get food poisoning and break the system. It would be the reason I would stay elsewhere as I’m too western to enjoy using the hose instead of paper.

The perfect introduction to Bali with a luxurious but affordable stay.

Was a beautiful hotel, all the facilities were clean and comfortable. The staff were incredible, so generous and helpful! Breakfast was also amazing!

Location was a little further out from the hustle of Canggu however, grabs and Gojek a were easy enough for cheap and reliable transport to and from accomodation.

The aircom was set at 16 degrees, yet the room wouldn’t cool off enough. I reported it. They try help. But nothing changed. I couldn’t sleep well, and kept awaking at night. Uncomfortable.

Beautiful building and pool area. Freshly cooked breakfast each morning (make sure you confirm the time and go down early if you are in a rush / need to leave at a certain time)

Some of the smaller rooms hardly have a window only up high that you can’t see out of. For the price you pay it’s a bit “look after yourself” getting ice for water bottles, wanting some boiled water for tea etc. was expected to go into kitchen and boil own water on the stove.

A beauty gem in Canggu

The design and decor had a beautiful blend of modern elements and traditional Balinese touches, creating a serene ambiance with instagrammable corners. The hotel's pool area was a highlight, providing a great spot for relaxation and sunbathing. If you don’t like the sun, there is also a poolside rest area. The staff was helpful in accommodating with the requests I had. The location was also convenient, less than 20 minutes by car to the Canggu area with trendy cafes and restaurants. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a short relaxation stay. Bear in mind it’s not a full-fledged hotel, rather it's an Airbnb. So don’t expect a variety of breakfast choices, activities and amenities.

I recently stayed at King Suite, and it was an absolute delight. However, consider carefully if you want full privacy when choosing this room type.

Amazing hotel and staff, but the location is challenging if you like to explore.

We are a newlywed couple on our honeymoon. We stayed 3-nights. The hotel is very esthetically pleasing to feed your gram and the staff is great. They surprised us with Honeymoon flowers on our bed. Our AC wasn't cooling the room to our desired temp for our first night but the staff provided us with a fan and fixed it the next morning. The pool area is so beautiful and there are lots of places to hang out throughout the property. Wifi was decent throughout. The breakfast was decent with some good options.

The location is bad if you want to explore Canggu. Not near anything relevant. It's a 20-minute commute each way to anything in Canggu with bad traffic along the route. Full honesty here, if we had to book a place again, we would prefer a place in Canggu.
