The location is 2-3 min walk to all restaurants and shops, yet it is so quiet. The best thing is that from the major bus stop Champ des Mars, it is 4 min walk without steps!! Inside the house there is 1 step so if you don’t want to carry your luggage to walk on stepped roads, this is great for you. It is very clean and the host is professional, eager to help and friendly. We also like the decor. The kitchen was well equipped with even salt/ pepper and some spices- though we didn’t cook.

For such a nice place with high quality kitchen and bathroom, the lack of hand soap and shower soap presents an inconvenience for renters: though not much to buy but we had to go out to a local supermarket to get soap before we could wash our hands ( for us the supermarket was closed at the time and this was unnecessarily inconvenient ). It does not cost much and the owner could easily charge a bit high rent and provide the basics.

The bed was very comfortable and the living room felt cozy and inviting.

The kitchen cabinets lacked cleanliness, there were leftovers from previous guests in the oven, and we couldn’t figure out how to control the radiators—they were either too hot or not warm enough.
