Casa Giulio is a gem. The views of the lake from the house are spectacular and the terrace lends itself to dreamy afternoons of watching boats, ferries and planes come and go. The quality of the furnishings are well above standard, and with Nico the owner upstairs, you can truly feel at home and relaxed.
We come back because the house works for us with the large rooms, the view, the proximity to the lake and great restaurants. Nothing to fault here, it is a “luxury at home” experience.

The location is wonderful, but yes, its on a hill and the road is very narrow. White, clean sheets and towels, kitchen equipped.
The smell of damp and mold and actual mold on the curtains and windows😩 the bathroom was unbearably cold and the heating was off, we asked to turn on the radiator and host said he will but we need to keep the low temperature because it cost a lot, but that should not be our problem. Eventually, radiator was cold all the time. Hairdryer needs to be replaced, it was shooting hot sparks.
