Our stay was a pleasant escape away from the big city crowds.

It was quite and peaceful, just what we were looking for. Great location, close to towns/restaurants/winery. The restaurant on the property was fantastic, best Lasagna I have ever had. Having a pool on property was a great addition.

Just do it!

It was absolutely beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and passionate about the establishment they run. The food was excellent, the location was perfect and the wine tasting was such a great experience.

We loved the grounds and facilities.

The reception was very friendly and explained the facilities.

The only complaint we could possibly have was the lack of air conditioning. It was extremely hot while we were there, but there were fans and a fantastic pool.

Authentic Tuscany Stay

Romitorio di Serelle gives you exactly the tuscany vacation vibe you're looking for with its beautiful location in the vineyards. Very authentic rooms and overall facilities just fit into the expectations you have when aiming for a stay like this.

Don't underestimate the need of an A/C, as the ventilators provided did not help much with the heat in the rooms. Additionally moskitios will find their way into the room although they installed nets in the windows. This combined might gives you a hard time at night. Dinner was good, but nothing too special for the price.

An unforgettable experience surrounded by nature and great hospitality

Enchanting property surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing and enjoying spectacular sunsets. Warm hospitality, a stunning infinity pool with breathtaking views, a woodland play area for children, and cozy, charming, and well-maintained accommodations. Breakfast is good (at an extra cost), though I would suggest adding a few more healthy options.. The only aspect that could be improved is the clarity of pricing for extra activities, such as the wine tasting (€35 per person, a very fair price for the experience, but not clearly communicated in advance). Everything else was perfect. We’ll definitely be back!

Outstanding and relaxing stay

The staff were “over the top” accommodating. They set up a pasta making class for my family on a day when the usually don’t have one Breakfast you can set up each day was outstanding the grounds were beautiful, with 360 degree views of the Tuscan wine country, and an exquisite pool. Wonderful and we can’t wait to be able to come back.

What truly made our experience exceptional was the warm and welcoming hosting family. They were incredibly humble, kind, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. As vegetarians, we were deeply touched by their thoughtful efforts in preparing delicious vegetarian meals for us — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and made with love. The accommodation itself was extremely comfortable, offering all the amenities we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We were also very grateful for the helpful guidance provided on local attractions, travel tips, and places to explore around Tuscany. Their local insights made our trip even more enriching. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tuscany — whether you're seeking scenic beauty, authentic food, or heartfelt hospitality, you’ll find it all here

It is a property if you would like to spend some time with nature. It is a beautiful property surrounded by an amazing landscapes. The hosts are wonderful people. We had a great time at this place.

You do need your own transport to travel. Please do carry some snacks / drinks as the nearest shop is at quite a distance. This is absolutely not to reflect on the property itself. This is more for information. The property is beautiful and the pictures make justice.

Great villa in Tuscany

The breakfast in the morning was always fresh, and very good. We were able to do a pasta class and an olive oil tasting right at the facility. They have wine tastings also, but we already had a booking tour elsewhere at the time. It is a beautiful facility surrounded by vineyards, the pool was perfect and outdoor seating all over the villa.

We loved everything about our stay here. It was a beautiful location on a hill top with easy access (with a car) to neighbouring towns. The villa was very clean and private with it's own outdoor sitting area. Would highly recommend to others and come back.

Need cash for deposit which was not very convenient, breakfast started 8:30,which was a bit late as most day tour starts at 9. Wish the shower room is more modern. There was no shampoo provided only shower gel.

Disappointed, we'd left after just one hour

Nothing

We were very disappointed with our stay and ended up leaving after just one hour. The entrance to the apartment is through an extremely narrow door, barely 30 cm wide, which makes bringing in luggage quite difficult. The apartment has tiled floors throughout, and it was uncomfortably cold to walk barefoot — there wasn’t a single rug. We hoped to find some slippers, but there were none. The host showed us the apartment without even taking off his shoes, despite the rainy weather, which did not make a good impression. Inside, there was a strong and unpleasant smell of incense, similar to that in a church, which made the atmosphere feel oppressive rather than welcoming. The apartment lacked even the most basic amenities such as sugar, salt, or olive oil. Are guests expected to bring these with them? This is especially inconvenient considering there are no shops nearby. We arrived around 4 PM and there was no possibility to buy even a simple snack on the property. There was absolutely no internet in the apartment, which, combined with the bad weather, made things even worse. We understand that this is a special place with a certain atmosphere — and we were open to experiencing that. But in such weather conditions, we were at least hoping for some comfort and coziness inside. Unfortunately, due to all the issues mentioned above, we couldn’t enjoy the atmosphere at all. The bathroom was dark and had only a flimsy shower curtain for separation. Overall, the space felt very uninviting and poorly prepared for guests. Unfortunately, we had booked for the entire week — a decision we came to regret very quickly. The host was unable to understand why we didn’t want to stay and refused to refund even a part of the payment. This experience was deeply disappointing and we cannot recommend this place to others.

Absolutely Amazing! Loved it!

Our stay here was superb! It was way beyond what we expected! It was very relaxing in our own apartment, which had a small kitchen, eating area, and small sitting area, a complete bathroom on second floor with the bedroom and a smaller one on the first floor. There was also an outside dining area and a wonderful view of the sunset over the grape vines. We loved having the excellent food at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast; and access to a beverage at the bar. The owners and staff were so welcoming and lovely. We met several other couples who have frequented this hotel for over 10 years, and we could see why. The pool was also perfect - with a great view of the hills.

Beautiful place - the remote location, the typical tuscany structure with interesting history, spacious garden and also good spot to enjoy a sunset. Also the staff was nice and helpful. Recommend.

Nothing negative, just two points to mention - From the visitors point of view, I'd rather pay a slightly higher price for accommodation than to pay 'high price' for breakfast, renting a towel for swimming pool, etc. Also it's good to realize that this accommodation have rather apartments for more than two persons, so you're likely to stay there with families with kids. As I said, it's not a negative, just good to realize if it suits your needs when booking the accommodation. Still, it's a beautiful place I recommend :) 9/10.

small, but annoying things: 1. We were at LA MANSARDA unit with 2 bedrooms. It has 2 toilets (bathrooms) , but only ONE shower. It is not so clear from the room description. Also the patio which belongs to this unit has no view and no privacy at all. 2. No tea, coffee, salt, pepper, olive oil and dishes soap in the room { we got some olive oil and salt after we asked from the hosts) So if you plan to cook , please be aware of this. 3. Wi-fi was weak and didn't work inside the apartment

Magnificient Italian farmhouse in the middle of Chianti offereing excellent food and wine.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and each evening we enjoyed the dinner in the restaurant of the villa overlooking the Tuscan hills. Our room was very spacious and full of charm. It was really like going back a couple of hundred years at the same time enjoying all the confort of today. The kids loved the pool and there are plenty of recreational areas around the villa available for use of the guests (playground, resting area etc). Special thanks to the hosts.
