Absolute beachfront bliss

Mickey Monkey is absolute beachfront sitting on our balcony looking out to the water everyday having a cold refreshment was blissful. Staff are fantastic always willing to help , service is excellent & the food is exceptional . This is our third time staying here , if you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful place to stay that doesn't break the bank Mickey Monkey is for you. Breakfast is also included & it will definitely fill you up. Love this place we will be back

Great location

Great view, so close to the beach, and you could hear the waves all night long. The air-conditioning was good. A comfortable room for 1. I was upgraded, for an extra cost, to the masonary bungalow, which was a bit quieter. I was concerned that there would be noise late into the night from the bar, but that wasn't the case. It was off-season, so it was pretty quiet. I was also able to negotiate a late check out to be able to catch my flight in the evening. Lots of farm yard animals wandering atone, chickens, roosters, a Turkey, and friendly dog

It was off season, so maybe that's why, but the place was seemingly run by a teenagers, which i don't have an issue with except the service was sometimes a bit slow, their basic English was much lower than I encountered in my other travels around Thailand.

The place has WiFi but they refuse to give you the code so you have to work next door at renaissance hotel, they also need to say on booking. Com that you have pay extra for aircon room this was not a option, I also never got my 200thb key deposit back.

It's very close to the beach. Nice clean beach.

The room, or hut, is 2m x 2m. There is no space to put your luggage. The staff is not very friendly. The chickens 🐔 keep you awake late, and they make sure you are up early. Flys everywhere. Will never go there again, and it's totally not worth the money.

Little ocean house.

It was 100 meters from the water line, fantastic view over the sea and hearing the waves crashing was wonderful. The staff was amazing and the free breakfast was HUGE. Great dinners and lunches too at the restaurant. Bonus was I flew my dog in from Spain so he could just run around as much as he wanted.

The bed was a bit hard but nothing to complain about.

cool place if you’re not after the big resorts. very chilled and authentic. we did go for breakfast at 8:30 and there were no staff around and no breakfast so not sure what was happening as no one told us but other than that it was good.

few cockroaches in shower but as it’s in the open you expect to see insects I suppose. it’s a good 15/20 mins from Mai khao town so recommend you hire a moped from them and explore the town for proper Thai food.

The food at the restaurant wasn’t very good and it’s not very close to other food options. There was no door to the bathroom in our place. There also seemed to be a bit of an ant problem.

Loved everything about my stay , exactly what I wanted from my first trip to Phuket. Staff where so welcoming , we got by on little English , but added to the appeal Food was so good , locational amazing, waking up to the sound of the waves , was amazing. There were hotels nearby if needed other option , but loved chilling outside my beach hut and by the bar

I was choose Phuket beach for my holiday.

I was choose Phuket beach for my holiday. Fortunatly, i stay in cottage-air ( bamboo hut) at at Micky monkey beach. It's just great to have a small local stye bamboo hut feel like my own house- comfortable and private. When the evening comes, the sunset at the beach is right in front of me. At that time, i ordered a glass of magarita then, a local bar-boy here told me 150 bath Wow- i paid only a half price of Bangkok.

Don't go to mickey monkey.

2 young men there couldn't care less about guests. Seemed very surprised when we turned up. Made us wait 90 minutes while, I guess he was cleaning the cabin. The Beach proximity was the attraction but there swimming is not allowed. Red flags every where. There was a bar and restaurant but both closed. The nearest cafe and 7-11 was a 30 minute walk away. There was no bicycle hire. Grab wouldn't deliver. The hotel next door was very expensive for non residents. I wouldn't stay there again even if it was free.

Fantastic bamboo huts - just the size of a bedroom, with outdoor private bathroom in a bamboo unroofed hut. Quite literally 20m from the beach, open bar and restaurant with a stunning beachfront view. Lovely people although the language is limited but that's everywhere.

Beer and food pretty expensive. 200 Baht surcharge if you want the AC remote otherwise you have a fan free of charge.

Sehr schöner Strand, Lage ist grundlegend sehr schön. Kleine Anlage welche Potential hat, welches aber leider vergeben wird. Die "Villen" sind in einem relativ gutem Zustand.

Keine Zimmerreinigung während des Aufenthaltes, Kein Toilettenpapier, keine Entleerung der Mülleimer. Frühstück ist sehr einseitig, lediglich ein "amerikanisches" Frühstück (Rührei oder Spiegelei). Kaffee oder Saft als Getränk. Die Bettmatratzen sind sehr hart.

Die Nähe zum Strand.

Bungalows wurden während des Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt, es gab nur einmalig Handtücher und das Toilettenpapier wurde nicht nachgefüllt. Es gab zwar ein zuckersüßes Begrüßungsgetränk, jedoch fehlte eine Erklärung zum Frühstück oder sonstiges. Lächeln ist nicht gerade die Stärke von einigen Angestellten. Ab und zu fühlte man sich „unwillkommen“. Die Anlage war nicht ausgebucht, gerade mal 4 Bungalows waren belegt. Das Essen im Restaurant war klasse. Als am zweiten Tag ein Filmteam anrückte, wurden wir ebenfalls nicht gefragt ob es stören könnte. Auch erfuhren wir dies nicht vorher. Außer die tolle Aussicht und das gute thailändische Restaurantessen können wir nicht allzu viel gutes schreiben.

Diese Unterkunft hätten wir uns sparen sollen.

Lage und Strand waren recht gut, wenn auch der Strand extrem vermüllt war. Es ist nicht einfach für uns, an dieser Unterkunft was gutes zu finden. Am besten war vielleicht noch das Frühstück, wobei die guten Essensbewertungen für uns nicht nachvollziehbar sind. Das war eventuell einmal so.

Die Unterkunft war in unserer 5 wöchigen Tour (Khao Lak und Phuket), wir hatten etliche verschiedene Unterkünfte, die mit Abstand schlechteste. Trifft leider auch auf das Personal zu. Wohlfühlen ist anders. Gebucht waren 3 Tage. Nach der 1. Nacht haben wir die Flucht ergriffen und die restlichen beiden Tage sausen lassen.

De zee uitzicht en hoge golven.

- Personeel heel onpersoonlijk. Kreeg ongemakkelijk gevoel alsof ze je liever weg willen hebben. -Erg duur. - Zitten met slijpmachine te slijpen terwijl je aan het ontbijten bent. -Ontbijt erg saai weinig keus. -Voor kinderen niets te doen. Als je dagje uit wil altijd taxi nodig slecht bereikbaar en te ver om te lopen naar een winkel. -Haan kraait je s’ochtends al wakker om 5:30 uur. - Bijna geen mensen daar wat het ook niet gezellig maakt.

L’hôtel est situé à 40 km du centre de Phuket. Les restaurants alentour sont au prix d’un 5 étoiles, mais avec une qualité de nourriture très médiocre. L’hôtel ne dispose ni de piscine, ni de restaurant, ni d’aucun service. Le village le plus proche est à 3 km, avec seulement un Burger King et un petit magasin alimentaire. Les plages à proximité ne sont pas surveillées, mal entretenues et complètement sauvages. Vu le prix payé, cela ne me paraît pas justifié.
