Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas. We booked a 2-Bedroom Pool Villa with breakfast included, which provided excellent space and privacy for both us and the kids. The resort layout around the central lagoon is beautiful and getting around via the buggy service was very convenient. The service throughout our stay was excellent. The housekeeping team was efficient, cleaning and tidying our villa twice a day, and fresh towels were provided daily without fail.The resort is well-equipped for families. Our kids made great use of the tennis courts and spent a lot of time in the Teen Room, which kept them well entertained. Breakfast by the lagoon was a highlight, offering a solid and high-quality selection of both local and international dishes. The location on Mai Khao Beach is peaceful and perfect if you want to avoid the crowded parts of Phuket. Having the Turtle Village shops just outside the resort was also a nice convenience.

If you want direct, seamless access to the beach and main resort grounds without crossing a public road, we recommend booking the beachfront villas. Overall, it is a well-managed property, but the separation of the buildings is something to keep in mind.

We had a wonderful stay at the resort and truly enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, excellent facilities, and the warm hospitality of the staff. The property is stunning, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing atmosphere throughout our vacation. The rooms were comfortable, the service was attentive, and overall it was a memorable experience. However, one aspect of our stay was disappointing. We were invited to attend a meeting without being clearly informed that it was a presentation for the Anantara Elite membership program. While we understand that the resort may wish to introduce guests to its membership offerings, we felt the sales approach during the meeting was overly persistent and pressured us to make a decision. A more transparent invitation and a less aggressive presentation would have made the experience much more comfortable. Despite this, we greatly enjoyed our stay and appreciate the efforts of the resort team. With a more guest-friendly approach to these promotional meetings, the overall experience would be even better.

Excellent hotel. Pool villas are fabulous and complemented by big communal pool and high quality F&B restaurants. Staff are excellent. Attentive, engaged and not overly intrusive. The hotel retains long term staff members and we see familiar faces on each visit. Location is 10mins north of airport so transfer time is short - this may not suit guests who want to be more in town/ the thick of it, but this suits us perfectly.
