It’s an amazing resort in Phuket. The staff were very friendly and always greeted guests with a smile. They are polite and professional. I would especially like to thank the receptionist, Kseniia. She is the sweetest receptionist I’ve ever met. She introduced me to the resort in a wonderful way and even gave my family and me a tour upon our arrival. She treated us very kindly and even gave us a souvenir to remember. Also, many thanks to Reen. We asked him to drive us around the resort and he did it wonderfully. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms are spacious, modern, and fully equipped with everything you might need. Everything was just perfect, and I will definitely come back again.

This property is quite simply amazing and the staff were very accommodating at all times.

The beach front pool was closed while we were there which was not clearly disclosed but not much could be done as it was bent refurbed.

Unforgettable stay at Anantara

Gorgeous hotel. A plus is that it’s a short drive from the airport. Family of 4 stayed in a suite. Very comfortable beds and large space. Balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens. We arrived in the morning and had asked for early check in. Our room was ready at 10am. So thankful for that. Staff incredibly accommodating and professional. Complimentary bikes make the ride to the beach a beautiful experience.

Picturesque Anantara Vacation

The room was large, spacious and well equipped. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The pool located next to the beach is absolutely beautiful...an amazing place to relax and enjoy the views. The breakfast spread was brilliant. Bua Bar feels like Anantara's best kept secret...a cozy and classy place to enjoy a pre or post dinner drink.

Hard to find anything to dislike, but if I have to say something...it would be that sometimes the Housekeeping team came quite late clean the room.

A luxurious stay right out of The White Lotus

Anantara Mai Khao is one of the filming locations for White Lotus Season 3, so you know it’s already luxurious and something special. The property is absolutely gorgeous, with its own private sandy beach. We stayed in one of the pool villas — massively spacious, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully curated for complete comfort and relaxation. The service throughout our stay was excellent. The hotel offers a fantastic menu for in-room dining, private barbecue on the deck, or in-restaurant dining, catering beautifully even for vegetarians like me. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious. Their in-house bar, Bua, is a must-visit — the bartender crafts some truly great drinks, so just trust his recommendations. You could easily spend your entire holiday within the property — taking part in daily complimentary activities, strolling through the expansive grounds, swimming in your private villa pool, unwinding on your deck, relaxing on the beach, enjoying a spa session, or cycling around the lush estate. There is even enough gorgeousness for those who like to capture content for the Gram. There’s something here for everyone — couples, families, singles. A heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff, especially Bee at reception, PJ and Au at La Sala restaurant, and Las, the talented bartender at Bua, for making our stay truly memorable.

The public pool by the sea has been under renovation for the past couple of months, so we couldn’t experience it during our stay, though we were told it should reopen in the coming weeks. The property has a beautiful luxury spa, which we were fortunate to experience through an external offer. However, treatments are on the higher side compared to neighbouring Marriott properties, which offer much more affordable (though not as luxurious) Thai massage experiences on their beach lawns. But you could even cross over to a neighbouring property to enjoy these services.

There is nothing to be not liked here. At the last night a small lizard entered the room but it quickly ran away and the staff came for help and everything was fine . That’s very normal since the resort is in the nature.

Extraordinary experience

Literally it exceeded my expectations starting from the resort beauty, villa and lagoon view was fascinating, variety of international breakfast on the lake and you can feed the fishes, ending with the pretty smile on staff faces with exceptional service.. I’d thank Mr.Aziz for his caring and hospitality when I got injured he and his colleagues really took care of me like a family.. I’ll definitely come again

Beautiful and luxurious resort with thoughtful design, spacious grounds, and top-notch amenities. The location is stunning — peaceful, with a quiet beach that never feels crowded. The resort area is huge and beautifully laid out, perfect for both relaxation and entertainment. Staff are very friendly and attentive, and I really appreciated the free yoga and fitness classes offered during the stay.

that the main pool, a key highlight of the resort, was closed for renovation — and we were only informed after making a non-refundable booking. Also worth noting: the rooms are located quite far from the beach, but a buggy is available on request and arrives quickly.

Great for a family get away

Kids loved it- personnel were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was very nice. The beach is beautiful. The two bedroom suite was very spacious.

Minor: the design of the hotel and rooms is great- so you would expect the 2 bedroom suites to be as well. They are just a bit “cold” in terms of design and not expressing the same warmth and design language compared to the rest of the property

Superb service and delicious breakfast

The staff are absolutely superb, whatever training programme they go on, it works! Could not have been more helpful, smiley and welcoming. Breakfast absolutely delicious. Has the same things as most five star hotel buffets in terms of western and Asian selections, but the quality of pastries, juice shots etc were excellent. NB you can eat in either restaurant for breakfast no matter where your room is - the one on the beach side is much nicer and the kids can feed the fish there too. 12 year old and 8 year old both entertained with the bikes cycling around the beautiful site and the teen club with air hockey, pool table, climbing walls and computer games (sigh!). Pool area has loads of sunbeds so never ran out of those. Local massage service and two local restaurants right outside on the beach - one hr massage for 500 bht. Beds very comfortable. We had a two bed family suite which is a bit further away from the beach (but reflected in the price). Had a washing machine and dryer which was useful plus electric hob, microwave, kettle etc. Could self cater if you wanted to.

The food outside of breakfast was a bit of a let down. It wasn't bad but it certainly wasn't a five star experience. The food at Sea Fire Salt was ok for lunch - but could be elevated so easily to a more premium level. The Thai food in La Sala and Talad was really average which we were surprised about. Feel like this area could really be improved. Shame there are no sunbeds on the beach. Surprised that guests are allowed to smoke weed in the smoking area - was drifting up to the pool bar area where kids were which wasn't great - but I guess not a lot they can do as it's legal there.

Its a lovely property with good food and lovely staff. Two lovely pools, but no lifeguards .

Not very friendly to disabled people. For example property has a disabled toilet but no ramp or hand railing to help a person getting down from the step to go to the toilet. Even pools dont have hand railings making it very difficult for a person who has walking issues to access it. And how come no pool had a lifeguard. Even the beach had no lifeguard.

The Rooms are very spacious and the design of the resort is luxurious. personal and dedicated service, and amazing food. Outside the hotel there is a small centre with shops In case you need anything.

The location is far from other attractions (almost 1 hr to the old town for example) but if you plan to mostly stay in the resort that is not a big problem.
