A nightmare stay. We were given a room that had not been cleaned after the previous guests: there were nail clippings in the sink, overflowing bins, and a filthy bathroom. We had to disinfect the place ourselves with wipes just to be able to stay there.
Despite staff promising to fix the situation the next day, nothing changed. I left "markers" to check if anyone had entered, and no one ever came to clean. Not only is the hygiene non-existent, but the staff openly lied to us. It looks nice from the outside, but it’s a dump inside. Never again.

Great location, easy to find, right by a metro stop. Big building with lots of elevators, there’s always staff around, very helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds, big rooms with huge lockers under the beds. Looks great and there’s always something going on.
There is no kitchen you can use, no fridge to store food and nowhere to get hot water once the bar area closes. I had to leave early in the morning and would have liked to male myself a tea or something, but there’s no possibility. Was okay for the weekend but for a longer stay this would be an issue for me as I usually like to bring/make my own food if I stay at a hostel 3+ days. Rooftop terrace is closed during the winter, which is a shame I would’ve loved to get a view from the top.

If I was being really picky, just the fact you had to pay for lockers to store your luggage. I feel this should be included for hotel guests.

The property and room were value for money and would be a perfect stay for someone on a budget.
There was a comfortable bed with a blanket, and warm enough in the cold November weather. There was a charging plug just near the head, so it was extremely convenient
It was a bit too noisy until late midnight as there were a lot of teenagers or youngsters staying and playing around until midnight. Except that it was a great value.

Staff and facility were okay, location is great, really close to the M2 metro station
I did not know I had to bring a Padlock for the locker in the room, the check-out is quite early, and also, towels are rented for 7e, which I did not know in advance. Things could be sorted by paying more.

Even though the neighbourhood seems a bit sketchy and dangerous the moment you walk in the hostel you feel 100% safe and there's a lot of good vibes and young people. Aside from that everything looks really clean and nice. The reception is really beautiful and modern and all the other spaces too. The staff is really kind, light headed, chill and informal which makes you feel at ease.
My stay was a bit weird since I only went there to sleep. There could be more common spaces to socialize with people. I went in my room before midnight and it was with the lights off already. All bunk beds seemed to be occupied with people already sleeping so I had to change clothes and organize my things really slowly on top of the bed to not make noise and risk waking people up. And then I set an alarm for 8 AM and woke up and everyone was still sleeping so I had to do all that process again plus showering and everything. So basically I went inside one day and left the next one without even seeing the room but of course that's not the hostel's fault. It was just a weird experience in that sense. Why was everyone sleeping more than 8 hours while visiting Paris? Apart from that I think the advertisement is a bit misleading because I saw the photos of the rooftop with the view for Montmarte (Sacré Cœur) which was my deal maker and I thought I was gonna have my breakfast there with the sunrise. I didn't know the breakfast would be downstairs but you should allow people to go upstairs for a more exciting stay! The breakfast, considering the options it provides , could be cheaper (almost 10 euros). And BE AWARE that they charge 7 euros for a towell after you buy the stay and go in their website to do the check in/ registration. It seems absurd to me since it should be included so take one just in case because charging that for a rented towell seems insane to me. I would rather have payed that fee in the whole price and not knowing it was for that (just a suggestion). And that rooftop was closed for winter season or something like that. I don't know if it was being reconstructed but it doesn't make sense to me that in october it is already closed and for so long since it's arguably the biggest asset of the whole hostel. I felt that was really disappointing. But nonetheless the stay was really good and positive and worth the price!!!

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed and easy to get around. The staff were genuinely welcoming and helpful throughout my visit, which made the experience even better. The room was clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—just what you need for a short stay.
While my overall stay was pleasant, there were a few areas that could use improvement. The bathroom door didn’t close properly and scraped against the floor, which was a bit inconvenient. Although the bathroom itself was clean, the inside of the toilet could have been more thoroughly cleaned. The middle bed stand felt unstable, and I also noticed a hole in the blinds, which detracted slightly from the room’s overall appearance. These are small fixes that could really elevate the guest experience.

The hostel is situated next to a hospital - this means there are ambulance sirens going off all day and night and you will lose sleep for it. The area has some sketchy people loitering around outside who will try to hit on you or chat you up, which is not a nice experience for solo female travelers.
The staff did not fully understand some instructions resulting in an overcharge, but instead of apologizing for the mistake they doubled down on it being my fault which was unprofessional.
Tldr, you can find somewhere better.

Great location and very affordable for Paris. You get what you pay for. We had a good stay and it’s great for a hostel. Don’t miss the lovely Chinese restaurant next door and also Gumbo Yaya for American Soul food super close to Generator.
The bed was uncomfortable and we were given tiny square pillows. We asked for new pillows and it was fixed.

Our deluxe private room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed. We even had a view of the city, which is magnificent – event if there's a building in front blocking the view of the Eiffel Tower!
I added on breakfast as it seemed quite cheap, but actually the selection is so sparse that it's really not worth it. Better to just get some fresh pastries from a local shop. My son didn't even want the milk with his cereal because it tasted strange to him (I think it was UHT or similar).

Nice staff. Clean rooms. Good breakfast.
No curtains on the beds.
I arrived early and had to pay quite a lot for renting a locker for my luggage.

The bedroom was nice and the rooftop bar has a nice view.
The showers are dirty. It’s not really a party hostel like they advertise it. Didn’t have any programmes on a weekend in august. Not many young people and the lockers are really expensive. Also no kind of fridge or kitchen. Also the rooftop bar is not really a part of the hostel it’s just a bar on top of the hostel, you have to buy a drink if you want to sit down, just like in any other bar on the street.

Staff was amazing, I sleep with 3 pillows and they gave me one more. Breakfast service was great, even though the buffet choice was not much, the food that was available was good.
I had the Deluxe King room with private bathroom, aircon was too cold. I had to turn it off.

The atmosphere in the common areas was decent
1. The rooms are unbearably hot in July and August. There’s no air conditioning or fan, and the upper bunks feel like a sauna—it’s almost impossible to sleep.
2. The shared bathrooms are not clean at all. The floor was covered in hair, and it was honestly disgusting. I didn’t even want to take a photo because it was that bad.
3. The night shift staff was extremely unprofessional. On June 27 around 12:40 AM, I was woken up and asked to move beds due to a staff error. The white male receptionist on duty was cold, dismissive, and disrespectful. Instead of resolving the issue, he left two guests confused and upset in the middle of the night. The communication was poor, and non-native English speakers are clearly not treated fairly here.

I loved how clean it was and how there was a lot to do, there’s a bar, play areas (pool), music, rooftop. I also loved the modern look of the exterior and interior of the building.
Nothing.

I booked for 4-bed room and when I went to the room there was anyone else in my bed. This problem was not solved and my room was changed with 10-bed one. The experience in total was really bad and disappointing!

Good location, close to the subway
We booked a deluxe king room and these rooms either don’t actually exist or we were not given what we booked (twice). Initially we were given a key to a room with two single beds so we went back and showed them our booking and we were moved to another room with a double but this didn’t have the bathroom we booked. There was A seperate toilet, seperate shower and then the sink was in the main room. The shower was so bad I had to use the shared hostel bathroom shower anyway as there was no water pressure in ours at all and the shower was covered in black mould. No hair dryer In the room either as advertised. Too expensive.

Really nice space and awesome rooftop bar.
Couldn't get a lower bunk bed even though I messaged them with a few weeks of notice explaining the reasons behind the request. Was told by reception staff that I should've sent a message prior to my check in so they clearly didn't see my request.

Staff was so rude!
I had a terrible experience with the staff during check-in. I arrived late at night after a long flight, with my room fully paid in advance. However, I didn’t realize that the city tax had to be paid upon check-in. Instead of just charging the tax, the receptionist tried to charge me the full amount, including my room fee. When I attempted to pay with my card, it got blocked. I had cash in Pounds, but he refused it, insisting on Euros and saying, “No Euro, no entry.” I pleaded with him to accept the Pounds as a deposit and let me in, but he refused, telling me I could stay in the lobby until I paid the €6. In the middle of the night, I had to call a friend for €6 just to check in. Completely unacceptable behaviour.

the Receptionists were very helpful both male and female. As soon as you make a request, they would enthusiastically take a action to fix it for you.
the 8 beds female Dormitory's floor is a bit messy and dusty cause we have our roommates come and go everyday. In stead of asking at the front desk to send someone clean the room, they should have send the cleaner to deal with it everyday.

I liked the bar and restaurant . The people that work in there are great. The drinks are good as well.
I had two rooms one day I shared a room with three other people. The shower head had rust and mildew which I thought was nasty. Next I had a private room, the they put two bed into one and I kept having to push the two beds together because they kept separating. The staff was rude in the front desk as well, it took them over an 1 hour to check me in. The need more staff working especially because this is a big hotel. It frustrating to the staff and the guest.

good location, elevators are very convenient, i like the separate washrooms as well as the ones in room, makes it easier not to wake others up in the morning/when getting ready
the only thing is that my keycard stopped working and still didnt work even after i brought it to the front desk and they said it got fixed. had to knock and get my roommates to open the door for me many times

The fire alarm went off at 5am and there was zero accountability. No apology or communication. The experience was absolutely terrifying to the point I could not sleep again after. The way to find the stairs is impossible. A nightmare waiting to happen with a real fire emergency! Staff were unhelpful when I brought this to their attention. Very much trying to wash their hands of the incident.

Elevators.
I was in the 8 bed female dorm, it had both separate shower and separate toilet, first time I've come across this, it worked really well.
No kitchen.
No real common\hang out room.
I was in the women's dorm, a male cleaner came in without making himself known at the door first, if he had just yelled out "cleaner" when he opened the door it would have been ok. He did say hello when he saw me.

Location is great!
Great amount of space for one's stuff in the room!
It's like a people factory (too crowded for me)
The sink inside the room (without a door) is a terrible idea
The air conditioning is always on, everywhere - it can be turned off in the room but as people are coming from the corridors where the air is conditioned, they think we need it when they enter the room turn it back on

The rooms and bathrooms were nice and clean, and the room had a lot of floor space. They had a lot of floor space in the bedrooms, and the lamps and usb ports were very handy. The bar and restaurant were nice and it was very lively and had a good atmosphere.
There was no kitchen which was a bit annoying as I (and a lot of hostel travellers) enjoy having kitchen facilities to save money and make some of our own food or tea and coffee in the morning. This meant that if I needed to eat without going out I had to buy a meal at the restaurant. There also wasn’t anywhere to relax - the only common areas were the bar/restaurant which was constantly playing techno music. Some kind of lounge or TV common areas would be nice!

Great location, great roof bar. great staff, good breakfast.
Useful locker room for bagages when you come in early
Maybe a bit too basic for a family of 5 as it is a hostel.
Not enough towels available for the hotel.
