Bali Villa Djodji

What a stunning villa, what an amazing host, and what a delightful infinity pool with jungle view! The photos can't even capture the true beauty and magic of the place. The gorgeous bedrooms, terraces, and various living spaces are all oriented towards the wild nature. For breakfast, we usually chose the balcony a bit further down, where you’re literally hanging above this piece of rainforest. An indescribably beautiful experience to eat with the family surrounded by tropical wilderness, with birds singing all around and little creatures climbing nearby. If you're lucky, even some monkeys might show up. The amenities are top-notch, including super-fast Wi-Fi, excellent air conditioning throughout, and outdoor showers with water filters. The incredibly kind private staff, who are literally available for you day and night, complete the experience and are truly an added value. You don’t have to worry about a thing, and if there's any issue, it's solved immediately. We have so much respect and admiration for them. Driver Wayan is optional but highly recommended if you want to explore the island a bit further. He’s slightly more expensive than a taxi, but he's reliable and even acts as a guide if needed. We visited i.a. the Puppet and Mask Museum nearby and the Flamingo Beach Club in Keramas—both fantastic. Also, little rain in April, and the short showers mostly happen at night.

Look no further! Fantastic villa with beautiful infinity pool and garden overlooking the jungle, beautiful rooms and caring help! Made and Lila ensure that you lack nothing during your stay. Breakfast was delicious and we ate in the villa most evenings. There was a choice of various dishes for both breakfast and dinner. We also had massages at home at a fair price. Wayan Astawa was our driver during our weeks in Bali. He consulted with us about nice routes, he reserved activities for us if necessary, always had a bottle of water for everyone in the car and drove safely in the very busy traffic on the island. In short, we had a wonderful time at Villa Djodi!

The breathtaking view impressed us the moment we entered the villa. But even more we were warmly greeted by Made and Lila. The other reviews mention their hospitality and kindness and we fully agree! Made is a great cook , you should try het pancakes ! The dinner is absolutely delicious as well. Made noticed that we like yoghurt with honey and started serving it in this way, she also offered her hand with preparing local fruit which seemed complicated to cut : in short it was nothing too much for her. Lila helped us to arrange the driver “last minute”, which we really appreciate . Well we enjoyed our time at this villa .

The location and some noisy neighbors as we expected it to really be in the middle of the jungle, we appreciate privacy and peace and quiet very much, so to find out that we had neighbors with loud music and screaming kids living next door was a bit disappointing. On the photo the villa looks like in the middle of the jungle, in reality you have houses on both sides and some hotels opposite (in the distance actually). The narrow road to this location has already been mentioned in previous reviews and it’s true . M ind that there is some construction work happening downstairs, you might hear some sounds of it as well.

I booked Bali Villa Djodji for my partner Bek who wrote this review: We were welcomed by Made and Lila on arrival who provided us with everything we needed for our stay. The villa has stunning mountain and river views with beautifully cared for gardens and pool. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, spacious and very comfortable, each with their own bathrooms including outdoor private showers and a large step-down bath like your own private spa. This was the ideal space to relax and reset while being close to all that Ubud has to offer. Made and Lila provided an incredible experience for my mum, sister and myself, taking great care and consideration throughout our stay.

A suggestion would be to have a sign where to park on arrival - as the road is quite narrow to the front door so it's best to park at the corner a few metres away from the entrance. Simply ask Bali Villa Djodji to arrange your transport for you as the drivers they connected us with provided excellent service with essential local knowledge.

We loved every minute of our stay at Villa Djodji! Made and Lela made us feel so welcomed and went out of their way to take such good care of our family. They helped arrange a driver (Gusti and Nyoman) whenever we needed. Even though we often didn't make a plan until the last minute, they were always able to arrange what we wanted (from a massage to a last minute load of laundry on our departure day). The food was excellent, and we opted to have dinner at the villa every night. Made usually held our baby while we ate so that we could eat without juggling an infant. Our older kids loved the pool and trying to catch geckos in the garden. I can't say enough good things - this vacation was so dreamy and a large part of that was due to Made, Lela, Gusti and this beautiful villa!

very nice house with large rooms, a large patio with a nice view on the forest, very quiet, and close to Ubud. the staff is very nice, helpful and is doing everything to help you enjoy the stay. We have enjoyed the massages organized by them, the food. we have also used their recommended taxi which has been reliable and helpful.

it was clean, safe and with personal assistance of three people. Made organized things around the house and prepared breakfast and -per request- lunch and/or dinner. We had private massages at the house for 200k Rp per hour that were excellent. We used Gusti Mayun (mobile +62 813-9027-5361) for traveling to and from the Villa and for all our local transportation into Ubud, the rafting trip, rice fields and cooking class (virtually next door and really nice!) which were all great. He did his utmost to service us in an optimal way. We can only advice you to make us of his services. We found him to be kind, caring, and charging reasonable prices. The villa itself was just beautiful. The pictures on Booking.com are actual and correct. we had amazing stay
