Our stay at Alami Villa was absolutely perfect. The villa is truly stunning, with breathtaking views of the river and the jungle. The entire property is beautifully maintained, and the villa itself is luxurious, elegant, and thoughtfully designed down to every detail. Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday is carefully provided. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to help and arrange anything we requested. The breakfasts were delicious, with a wonderful variety of fresh fruits. A very special thank you to the villa manager, Sang Putu — exceptionally warm, professional, and helpful. He organized everything perfectly and was an excellent guide, taking us to beautiful and authentic places. Only the very best recommendations — we would love to come back again!

Haven of peace in Ubud with an incredible team who cannot do enough for you

Putu, Made and the team were amazing. They could not have been more helpful to make our stay comfortable and help us see the best of Ubud and Bali. The breakfast is amazing. Freshly made and adjusted to what we wanted. The location of the property is a haven of tranquility in the valley. The view from the pool is glorious. Highly recommend having a chef come to the villa to prepare a meal.

The traffic around Ubud is hell - not that the villa can help that. The sun disappears behind the building in late afternoon. Very very very minor. This is an amazing location for a holiday!

Fabulous stay, fantastic team working there

We couldn’t be me more satisfied with our stay in Alami villa. It was excellent experience, and any minute we would be ready to come back there. Location with a fantastic view to the green valley, interior with attention to the smallest details, fantastic swimming pool. But the most important is people working there. The whole team is super friendly and welcoming. It’s so important that those are local people working there from local community. They took very good care of us and we felt we are friends not guests. Many thanks to all of you.

This villa offers excellent personalised but free service offered by friendly staff.

Private accommodation with free service on demand. Staff are very courteous and helpful. Staff attended all our wishes without any hesitation or reasoning. Excellent breakfast, wonderful seating arrangements on the ground floor and the pool was awesome.

It felt bed rooms needed a bit more light in night. There were smells as if the rooms were unused for a long time. The orientation of the bathrooms with too many doors seemed awkward. Also the linens were old, they should be replaced.

The view was breath taking, better than what the photos and videos show. The villa beautiful with every comfort you could want and a very relaxing atmosphere. And the staff absolutely exceptional, very friendly and they anticipated our every need and nothing we asked was too much. I felt sad when we had to leave, as if I was saying farewell to family and not people I only met 7 days ago.

an amazing stay to spend quality time with family and build precious memories

Everything! as mentioned in prior reviews photos do not do justice to the beauty of both the house and location. The staff were exceptional. Each time we returned from outings we were “welcomed back home”. And that is exactly how we felt at home safe, well cared for and totally spoilt (yummy breakfasts and dinner with local chef). Alami and staff you will always have a special place in our hearts.

Alami Villa definitely exceeded our expectation!

Alami Villa definitely exceeded our expectation. The villa architecture is traditional but yet with all the modern comfort and effortlessly blends into its lush tropical forest and gentle river. It looked even more gorgeous in person than online. As a family of 8, the Four bedroom villa was super comfortable, each bedroom comes with its own attached bathroom, some with outdoor shower. It is situated at a cul-de-sac in a Balinese village so it is quiet, peaceful and as a bonus, we also got to see the real Bali village life. The warm hospitality and service provided by the villa team led by Putu gave our stay a personal touch. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We would highly recommend Alami Villa to any large group seeking a relaxed and comfortable local experience in Ubud.

Amazingly warm host and service staff who made our stay thoroughly enjoyable.

Alami Villa is all about the staff and service. We are grateful to Mr Sang Putu Ardana for accommodating all our requests and for being a caring and dedicated host. We are also thankful for all the wonderful staff at the villa who made our stay so memorable. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable and we felt their kindness and hospitality.

The villa itself is showing it's age and there seemed to be a perpetual dusty/musky smell in the rooms. As much as the staff try their best maintaining cleanliness of the rooms, they do so with limited equipment. We were also a little concerned if the air-conditioning is maintained as one of them is actually installed in a bathroom - a planning issue in the initial construction. Perhaps it's time to consider a refurbishment of the villa.

The most wonderful, amazing villa with a host and staff who make it an exceptional experience

I booked this accommodation on the strength of other reviews. I expected a wonderful experience instead I got an exceptional experience from the host and all staff. Sang Putu is the main host and nothing is too much trouble. His professionalism, experience, helpfulness, courtesy and happy demeanour were amazing. The staff, Kadek, Made, Koming, Komang, Cesti were all amazing as well. It was a family holiday and all of us agreed it was the best holiday we have had. It had the perfect blend of relaxation but outings when we requested. A wonderful recommendation for a cooking class, a bike ride in the fields, a masseuse to attend at the villa, a chef (Putu) to cook and teach in the villa and plenty of uninterrupted pool and laying around time. To top it all off the breakfast everyday was excellent with loads of fresh fruit, banana pancakes, eggs etc. To Sang Putu and all the staff thank you for an amazing and memorable holiday we will not forget. PS We are already saving for the next one.

Absolutely stunning villa! We had 3 days and nights of pure bliss. Pool, comfortable beds and private secluded outdoor bathrooms for all 4 rooms. The staff was above and beyond accommodating from fresh yummy Breakfast served every morning to assisting us in the preparations of dinners every night. Perfectly fit our group of 6 and we felt like each had the time to enjoy all the facilities on their own and have in house massages

Villa Alami is everything you are looking for if you look for a quite and comfortable stay near ubud. Just outside the city center you find this amazing villa with the sweetest staff! We stayed with my 3 boys and my parents and everything was perfect. Sang Putu, Made and the team make your stay so special. Best. Holiday. Ever.

The breakfast was great, our children loved the pancakes and the fresh fruit was amazing, the little village is lovely and nice for a stroll. The rooms are beautiful with beautiful and fun bathrooms. The swimming pool was favoured by our children and the lush green suroundings are amazing. The staff couldn't be more attentive and helpful, the house manager is very knowledgeable of Balinese culture and makes sure you have wonderful daytrips and activities. It was a carefree holiday and we saw lots of culture, temples, rice fields and experienced all that Bali had to offer. Every afternoon returning to a dream villa in paradise.

We had to make sure to keep lights off and doors closed after dusk otherwise light-loving insects will enter the room. This is not something bad really, we wanted a villa in the middle of natural and quiet surroundings. Its more a positive than a negative..
